Twink Info Gets A Facelift!

Personally I care little about color schemes and graphic schemes, I wish you guys would just stop changing it. Every time you have, old posts that are still valuable sources of info get their formatting messed up and that is unacceptable in a one stop site like this one.

While this one has had less of an impact than the previous 5 or 6 in the last year, currently larger tables in posts that previously fit on the screen need to be resized smaller and wowhead links aren't popping up tooltips. You can't do anything about the former, but the latter would be nice to have functioning again.

I completely understand where you are coming from chubs.

When I took over the site several weeks back, I let people know that I had a new custom design incoming. This is the LAST skin design for the foreseeable future; I am sure of that.

As for the wowhead tooltips, those are something that I may never be able to get back because vBulletin does not have an updated version of the addon. The last updated version was about 2 years ago for the previous version of vBulletin (3.x.x).

I will see what I can do though.

I am moving away from the frontpage. What we are going to do an ACTUAL blog section instead as that is what the frontpage technically was -- a compilation of blog posts.

I'm sure the tweaking of colours here and there to make things readable won't interfere with formatting from now on, so I'm happy you've found your permanent skin! Wowhead tooltips are awesome. Thank you very much for paying so much attention to these details!

The design is very nice, and the mustard yellow isn't so bad. It fits with the hues of the Lucky Fishing Hat. :p

At first I was like, new facelift? Everything still looked the same. I scrolled down, changed skin and I must say it looks quite nice. I like the grainy background and the color scheme. The site title is sweet aswell altough I'd swap it with LFH as stated above.

Good job on the small introduction of what this site is actually about. Perhaps a detail, but quite the crucial one imo.

Um, I just rotated the LFH from your introduction (http://twinkinfo.com/digitalvb/twinkinfo/twinkinfo_base/twinkhat.png) a bit and pasted it above the original image in SketchBookExpress. I'm afraid I can't send a PSD as SBE (free version) unfortunately merges the layers in PSD format, but you should be able to use your original PNG in Photoshop. :)


EDIT: I really like the new design more and more. The quote wrap looks so elegant now!
 
I see "welcome to the worlds largest twin" up at top, at least on my iPad. And no home page anymore for news updates?

edit: on my laptop the banner reads normally at least

What is showing up as the default skin right now? It should be this one.

Are you guys getting the default white vBulletin skin as the default when you hit the page?
