Transmog Rating Thread (Any Level)

A little bit of an over-the-top one (at least for my taste) but goodness did Legion gave us some sick transmogs.

This one's my Dwarf Shaman, I like him. He smells but he's nice.

RP-wise I rarely go with this set and go for a more casual one that fits with my archaeologist theme.

This set is basically the Tornheïm questing set minus the helmet which is from Legion dungeons (Drops from Odyn if memory serves) with the Legion Artifact weapon (this appearance isn't available to pure trials if I'm not mistaken but either standard Doomhammer, Iron Horde Hatchet, or WotLK questing maces (the ones with spikes) look quite good. The cape is one of the 20th anniversary event but tbh it's not needed.

Is this late enough that this is a necro ?
I don't know. I don't care much either, this thread is awesome.

This one's a Priest, I mostly play with him for roleplaying (mostly in Northrend / Argent Crusade RP) and with Disc spec (sometimes Holy too).
Very simple transmog but the colors from various mismatched pieces came together well enough -to my taste at least- and hits the sweet spot between simple enough for roleplay without losing its soul.

Head : The head is Prowler's Sepia Cowl which is a trading post item so not too f2p friendly though technically available. It can be replaced by items such as Chitin-Reinforced Hood (Northrend questing) or Resilient Cap (world drop).

Shoulderpads : Waylight Shoulderpads which is a quest reward from the Bastion questline in Shadowlands. The storyline sucks but it is the first zone the mantle is crazy good looking.

Cloak : I chose to not add one but some version of the MoP Remix cloak look quite good, otherwise Glitterwing Greatcloak looks fantastic, it is a reward from questing in Ardenweald. It's SL content, it's not too good tbh but the mogs are suprisingly solid.

Torso : Princess Poobah's Dress, a reward from a short questline in STV

For shirts and tabards, same as the cloaks. Tbh you don't really see shirts but for tabards the Argent Crusade one looks good, so does the Cenarian Expedition and Guardians of Time ones. I prefer to go without one as it kinda ruins the flow but there are options.

Wrists don't really matter as they're very much hidden, pick whatever you like RP-wise.

Gloves : Swift-Travel Gloves, drop from the rare Gulliver in Tiragarde Sound, other sources but you can check them out on Wowhead ^^

Waist : Spirit Tender's Cord, a quest reward from Ardenweald again. Can be replaced by Renowned Expeditioner's Cord which is part of a set bought to Pathfinder Jeb at Renown 14 with Dragonscale Expedition.

Legs are the same as Wrists, for all anybody cares, don't wear any and they'll be none the wiser.

For the boots, any that fit the color scheme work but I personnaly run Renowned Expeditioner's Sandals which are part of the same set as Renowned Expeditioner's Cord.

And finally for the staff I have Apprentice's Twisted Crook which is another trading post item. To replace it, Staff of Radiance (Ghostlands quest), Power of the Treant (Feralas quest), Tian Monastery Spire (MoP Remix world drop), Timeworn Staff (Worgen questline) or Farlus' Staff (Felwood quest) all work decently well.

Oh and bonus : For a fitting mount, Mountain Horse is my go-to (Worgen racial mount)

No posing, just transmog.jpg

And that's all for me -for now-
Let's bring some life to this thread again, it is a wonderful one.
