US Tips on a F2P Priest!

What spec are you thinking? Disc is most certainly the most OP of the bunch.

The BIS weapon would be the epic version of Foamspittle Staff, I believe. Dungeon blues are a good start, and then upgrading from there to the blue versions of PVP gear.

The best gear is a mix of Holiday gear and the Epic upgraded quest items.

I would recommend

Panda (Stun)
Tauren (Stun)
Gnome (melee escape)

Mid
Dwarf (10% reduction and bleed and poison)
Troll (haste)
Draenei (20% HoT)

Rest bottom tier.

Race matters a lot at 20. Gives you certain utility the class may be lacking low level

Given the lack of abilities/key bindings available at level 20, do consider compensating, and living up to the potential of your action bars. By this I mean, take advantage of the macro feature.

"/cancelaura alliance flag" This macro will drop the alliance flag
"/cancelaura horde flag" This macro will drop the horde flag

"/cleartarget
/targetenemyplayer
/cast Shadow word: pain
" This macro (when spammed) can potentially reveal nearby invisible units (Rogues, Druids, invisibility potion users, etc.)

If you're interested in other macros that may prove useful, here is a direct link to a guide that I've created with some great information on it. https://xpoff.com/threads/easy-to-comprehend-pvp-macro-guide.81464.

/s **SAPPED** help healer

keybind it and use it whenever sapped by a rogue, useful to all healers since your are their primary target

Worgen is top tier imo. 10 seconds of ranging melee or big casters makes all the difference

How are Night elf & Worgen "bottom tier"?

just for the record, goblin is best horde race for priest, idk what lechn was on but his post was a huge troll @Cathell

izac is f2p priest overlord and i am not too rusty at the moment so if you have any specific questions i'm sure we can help

Disc Priest is alright. Definitely not as good as Rsham or MW monk for F2Ps, since you suffer in survivability and mobility, but viable. Learn how to use @mouseover,help macros and raid frames to make healing easier.

Here's my macro
Code:
#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help] [@player] Healing Surge

As a F2P, Necks, Trinkets, Shoulders and Weapon (and sometimes head) Heirlooms will be your go-to for gearing, but most other stuff can be acquired through BG crates and Dungeons

https://xpoff.com/threads/veteran-quick-start-gearing-guide-bfa.82655/

I recommend you use this as a starter guide, but ignore the engineering helmet, the rest should be obtainable, and if not, dungeon gear can replace it.

You cucked weebs are autistic.

What kills priests? If youre dieing to ranged as a priest no amount of twinking will fix you.

You need priority on melee control.
Stuns, and escapes.

Shadowmeld drops 1 cast if youre on the ball.

Worgen speed is ok but basically a swift pot. Mid tier at best.

This hasnt been accurate in ages. Not to mention, f2p cant get heirloom helm or necks. All gear (except trinkets, which will be heirlooms until brewfest rolls around again) will come from dungeons, farmed epic rares and lucky quest reward procs.

Alright, forgot about that mainly play vet now (think OP is vet too tho).

As for the lucky quest reward drops, like others have sorta said, most of them are pure primary stats and aren't the greatest, as they lack versa, but I'm not an expert at F2P gearing so maybe they're BiS for F2Ps

Do F2Ps still have access to JC neck and Flying Tiger?

Trinkes are https://www.wowhead.com/item=21566/rune-of-perfection or Brewfest Trinkets. https://www.wowhead.com/item=65915/rifle-commanders-eyepatch (leather/mail), Engi Helm https://www.wowhead.com/item=4368/flying-tiger-goggles, LFH https://www.wowhead.com/item=19972/lucky-fishing-hat (hard tho)

Also highly inaccurate. Probably best to just hush hush on this one.

Random dungeon satchels award necklaces (and rings!) with main stats 4/6 and secondary stats with 5 total points. Cloth helms are available either from a vendor (horde) or quest reward (alliance) in Stonetalon mountains. Or also, yes, LFH and those really bad engineering goggles.

Quest rewards are largely main stat but a few choice ones would be nice assuming they proc. Hell, given that priests shield gets stronger based on int, some slots might be worth taking the extra int or two and forgoing the secondaries. Im not much of a priest player though, so ill let someone else weigh in on stat priority.

But yea, your BiS lists are like... 2 expansions old.

Ye sorry then, it's been a while since i've played F2P, i removed all that stuff off my previous post

Ok some tips stay back and heal/shield/dot save penance for healing dont be aggressive with it. Do not get yourself in a bad spot trying to aoe fear everyone.

one bad thing about cloth wearing f2p(mage/priest/warlock) is that they have only 1 chance to be rewarded a headgear from quest which is near the end of the long stonetalon mountain quest chain. If you want the BiS helm, u need to be very very very lucky unless someone show me the lucky fish hat can be epic or there is some other quests that can reward a helm.
