EU+US Thread Against Legion PVP Changes!

Incredabull

Grandfathered
If you're a twink of any sort it might be in your best interest to check this out. I personally have been playing WoW since Vanilla and it's really annoying to me how Blizzard has changed this game so much to cater towards noobs. BoA, LFR, Theres a HUGE list of things they have done that I *personally* think have decreased the quality of this game.

Have you read the changes to BG's in Legion? We will basically all be the same. No stats - No Enchants - No Trinkets in BG's. INSTEAD - Your average IL will give you a predetermined set of stats. ( We will all be the same ) regardless of your GFD Gear, regardless of everything. Essentially, we are all the same. Now, I dont know about you.. But even though this bracket is already pretty balanced due to BoA, this still sounds god awful to me. Yeah? we're pretty balanced.. but I still enjoy creating different sets? Having multiple different pieces for different situations ect.

So I will say this, YES we are a small community. YES Blizzard seems to not give two shits about Twinks. But I have created a thread on Battle.net. I didnt go into a large amount of detail when I made it, but I expressed the gist of my concerns. If you agree with me and you think this is total BS, go comment on the thread. The more presence the thread gets, the higher the chance a GM will see it and maybe pass it along. Laugh all you want but its worth a shot! http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/20742849520?page=1#6

Technically the "noobs", as you so eloquently call them, will be put at a disadvantage to the more experienced WoW players. So you should like this change.
How you will new people be at a disadvantage you ask? Because the less experienced player will no longer be able to lean on gear like they have been able to in the past. It will depend more on the player and even less on gear.

My guess is that at one time the OP was a "noob". I would also venture a guess that we ALL were at some point. We should all remember that next time we encounter a new player and give them a bit of a break. Maybe even help them out a bit. Especially if they are trying to join our merry land of Tw!nkdom. I know I always do! I give new Tw!nks enchants, consumables etc. quite often.
Have a great weekend!!

As for your comments on the official forums about wanting to be able to want different gear sets. You can have different gear sets. As a Druid I would hope you would have an FC set and a full glass cannon set and a nice balance stat set.
So lost

Please state how I am "so lost".
Because this thread and the thread on the official wow forums is exactly about losing the possibility to gear differently, having different gear sets because as it looks now, they gonna remove gears stats entirely in legion. The only thing that matters is your item lvl and the stats will scale accordingly. So you wont be able to have different gear sets like stam set, dps set or balanced set anymore. The whole point of this thread is to make ppl aware of this change that most likely will come with legion. So you telling him that he can have different gear set is the most lost and idiotic advice you could give. Basically everything you said in this post was completely off topic.

Yes he was. But cussing and insulting, as I predicted, isn't going to change anything.
Adapting like we have for the last decade will. We have had literally hundreds of doom and gloom threads each xpac. Guess what?? We have weathered each storm just fine. Tw1nks of all levels are still around. Some of us even have great attitudes about the future.
What does this have to do with you missing the point and topic of this thread? The insulting started because you made your moronic appearance not because of the topic of this thread which you failed to understand.

Most stupid shit I have ever heard, you will be gearing differently now but its exactly the same as it was before.

LOL @ all the ppl who bought gf'd characters

Well, if Blizzard sticks to their changes, gf'd characters will be the only ones that have a stat advantage over others, albeit a very small one. So not a total loss I guess? (Provided they don't end up adding gear with PvP ilevels for lowbies RIP)

I like having gear sets as much as the next twink but I don't think trying to combat Blizz by saying you like being unbalanced is a fight Blizz will even take notice of. Twinks will still be around our gear will just change.

Wait untill we actually see this effect on alpha/beta to make your complaints. Who knows maybe ilvls will scale differently at 19 and 110. It is after all a lot harder to achieve a gap in ilvls at lower levels then it is at higher ones

Yeah for real. We'll all be within 1% of each other's stats. If anything, 10-19 will be one of THE MOST balanced brackets, in terms of ilvl disparity.

Its a weird change, but I'm not against it. If it is done correctly (I know, big "if") it could be the most balanced the bracket has been in a very long time.

Only time will tell. I just want the beta to become open so we can test shit out.

not really 1%
at 19s furblog users with x2 argas and 2x AGM will be something like 10% only from these items
Based on how Blizzard has said the scaling works, that wouldn't come close to 10%. You would need at least an average ilevel 124 at 19s to gain a 10% advantage over the baseline. 10 average ilevels for 1% increase.
