I do have to pose a scenario to the people in this thread. I do want to express that I'm not trying to troll or stir the pot, but it is a possibility, and something to chew on.
Let's say that all the 24's disappear, and they all roll 20 and use the f2p limitations. Or they all decide to use trial accounts. Since the bracket is being dominated by hunters, paladins and priests, what will happen when the new re-rollers come? Those 24's that are re-rolling are going to roll the most OP classes, the three stated above. Soon the bracket will be those three and only those that don't know how to PvP or don't care about winning (just playing to truly have fun) will have specs like demo lock or combat rogue; those specs that don't do uber damage.
So when the bracket is filled with more and more hunters, pallys and priests, what then? Will the complaining stop? Or will it continue? Will there be threads about 5,6,7 hunters in a BG? The bracket is just that, a bracket. No matter which one, people are going to play the class and spec they like. People are going to play the OP classes for hands down wins. I think people should accept the fact that it's going to be f2p vs p2p and just move on. Chew it down and learn strategy to take down 24's and revel in the victory.
I remember being 20 and trying to take down 29's and not even being a second glance and one shotted, so I know where f2p's are coming from. I hate to come off as cold, but what can you do? Quit or adapt and overcome?
::EDIT:: And for the people who want to say "Why not just make a trial?" I ask "Why not pay for wow?" Everyone has their reasons for doing the things they do. I twink 24, because I have the ability to. It's not to grief people, it's because I'm taking advantage of what I have. That's what twinking is about.
