As for quest gear at 20, the dungeon quests in Shadow Labs are worth mentioning, specifically:

- https://www.wowhead.com/quest=29641/the-soul-devices rewards a one socket wrist for all armor types; and
- https://www.wowhead.com/quest=29644/into-the-heart-of-the-labyrinth rewards a two socket boot for all armor types

The gear isn't BIS but it's good starter that's a guaranteed reward.

All of the new gearing is a bit overwhelming. I want to be lazy and ask if there are any good F2P BiS characters that I can ceaselessly copy?

Edit: Do f2p accounts have access to DLC dungeons? Such as WotLK or TBC? Or do I only have the three Dragonflight dungeons?

I just checked it in The Stockade, and it works fine for me.

Remember to have 4xa ("aaaa") and not just 1xa, as was common in an earlier rendition of the macro:

I've been running BC dungeons recently, & today I suddenly noticed something. The jewelry is giving only secondary stats with budget akin to the ones in Vanilla & BFA, and is not reflective of the Adventure Guide. For eg, both of these neck & ring are looted off Steamvault:

Not sure when this was changed, or was it something recent? Gonna run other BC dungeons to see if the jewelry loots are reflecting the same change.

With the last patch, I noticed the WoD epic rings / neck (BiS from last xpac) were now converted to secondary stats only (they had main stat before), so I guess TBC / WOTLK / Cata drops are converted as well. Once the change is reflected in the adventure guide, we can start looking for a potential new F2P BiS rings (neck bis will still be the DF 3 socket version).

Indeed, the change has been reflected in the Adventure Guide as well for WoD dungeons.

Looted more jewelry from BC dungeons - specifically Slave Pens & Underbog. They are still carrying the old stats. So in BC there are a mix of old & updated stats for necks & rings depending on dungeon.

I'm thinking Blizzard initiated the conversion for all jewelry, but perhaps didn't have time to complete them all for this patch. Only WoD is complete, reflected in Adventure Guide, whilst BC jewelry is partially done with Adventure Guide still showing the old stats. Haven't tried any WolK dungeons yet..
