Funny how you call me a liar when you do stuff like this

    im lying.png im lying1.png

    im lying2.png

So you have no power but you're the one who banned Mvq?

and your 'evidence' you linked was you saying 'you're on thin ice' to mvq 7 times

That's not a formal warning, that give no insight into what rules Mvq were breaking, that was on discord when mvq was insulting Selaya on there, that's a warning about banning on discord, an outside website.

That has 0 standing here, it's irrelevant.

He asked for evidence of what he did wrong on XPOff, he asked for evidence of warnings on XPOff.

Stop giving me more excuses to make you look incompetent.

Go run this by Arkte in a private matter and see what can be done.

A key point for negotiating to remember: compromises.

One thing I can clarify on Mvqs ban is that I was the one who sent both a verbal and formal warning to him via PMs and warning points. I'm sure I can find those on my PC somewhere if you want, when I get home!

Although Conq did ban Mvq he should not bare the whole weight of the action as the entirety of the staff had come to a decision to ban him. Conq was the weapon to carry out the action. A great way to go into history imo.

Why would I run this by Arkte when he said he'd respond to Mvq after 2 hours, it's been over a month and still no response to him.

Just to throw in my 2 cents...

I totally agree with the fact that the term "Kill Yourself" is punishable, but I also agree with the statement given by Lild that there are people like Devm that use far harsher words on this site.

Thus should have been given a penalty accordingly. Ones Status/Importance/Reputation/Influence
etc. should not matter in a scenario where there's a clear code of conduct to follow.

And as to what I've heard and seen so far, Devm should've been/stayed banned for all the sh*t he has done to this community over the years in-and-out of game. He's a negative and toxic person whose actions probably had a somewhat influential role in the "downfall" of this community and bracket.

Not just him, but the specific things he did as in being generally toxic and negative which is exactly the kind of behaviour you see people showing on this site most of the time.

The problem here isn't the XpOff staff. It's the community. People need to learn how to behave around things as a normal human being so everyone can have an easier time...

Well, even tho i find it awkard as fk the need for toxicity, herassament.. etc, i believe you can solve the problem by creating a special section where the toxic ones can be toxic to each other until they get bored or whatever.

That should be their safe heaven but, if they go beyond the "safe heaven"'s borders, they should be punished hard.

Think about it even tho i dont understand myself the need some still have for such toxicity in 2017.

There's a life outside, but many are still stuck in this "twinking egos war".

Fighting each day on the internet, craving for it just to feed egos shows how unsecure some feel IRL.

Sad but true my young padawans ;)

They'll say The Royal Lounge is where there's no rules on posting

99.9% of users have no access to it

but that's staff's solution to the toxic posting.

One could even go as far to say the changes to the general forums and royal lounge is so people feel the need to donate to the website to gain access to it.

It's a money scheme because we all know this website is running on fumes making no profit, that's why Conq wanted to sell his share.

I honestly don't know much about anything regarding this drama, but I know that's incorrect. You have no information about what's going on behind the scene various places, but in this specific scenario I do know.

Conq hasn't had a desire to sell XPOff as a 'stock market dropping' scenario, but rather the new project (with us) that we've been working on needed a cash injection to get going.

As life goes, we've had serious issues with the web developer that money was for, and he's dropped out. Thus, it is in it's current stage not a problem and therefore the issue hasn't been pushed.

I don't know you, Ilid, but I think you need to be careful making assumptions on situations of which you know nothing of :)

Oh so I was correct in saying he's dumping his passion for twinks and wants to jump ship asap, I guess that's why TC failed then.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

He's never hid the fact that he's trying to branch out and do new things? Is that a crime? Most people aren't stuck doing the same thing forever.

He has a passion for Twinking, even in its current stage, that I don't understand. But it's there.

You guess TC failed because of Conq? you're honestly quite delusional/dumb if you think he has that sort of power lol. If there's no interest in a competitive scene within an area, any area, and people don't sign up - then you don't have a tournament.

How many events leading up to TC did NWL host?

How much did you lot push towards to more signups?

How many trailers did you put in Twink Cup thread to build hype?

How many threads on official forums did you post to garner more attention?

How many guilds did Conq throw into plebmades knowing their reputation and killed the guilds?

i know the answer to the last one, 11.

    1. Non, we're not a twink organization, and we've been trying to set things up for a long time - with various issues that don't concern you.
    2. We did more than we were asked of. We talked to people in the scene, spread the word, created a thread with a front picture on the page for people to "Looking for Group" and find teams to sign up with, and encouraged people to sign up even incomplete rosters in the "Roster in Progress" part of the official thread.
    3. One. Just like last year, which turned out fine.
    4. We weren't hired to advertise the event, but to host it. We weren't hired to resuscitate the bracket, but to host an event that apparently there's no interest in being held.
    5. I have no knowledge of plebmades, and they're unrelated to the issue at hand.

Not to mention all the preparations behind the scene to even run an event.

Let me ask you a question:
How much did you do? Did you form a team, talk to your friends and get in on things, spread the word and try to get people into this years TC and inform them?

It's easy to point fingers while sitting behind your keyboard my little friend.

You'll get no further replies on this from me, you seem like you wish to start drama just to start drama. Not because you particularly care for anything. I'm not here for your amusement, but spreading false information that I know is false, is the only reason I replied.

    Have a nice day,
    -lindenkron

Edit: Actually think I'm wrong. I think we did the Forceful Cup in December 2016.

There's no trailer in the official TC thread, you didn't make a thread on official forums but every other year there's been a TC thread there.

You can say 'we werent hired to advertise' all you like but if you're putting your name into something and it fails due to lack of hype, whether or not you were hired to advertise it still looks bad on your organization.

Plebmade issue is related in the sense that Conq reached out and funded 11 guilds, getting them hyped for TC then told them to join plebmades, they faced toxicity as there will always be in plebmades, then they were never seen again.

If he pushed them to premade guild vs guild instead, there might've been more than 2 teams signing up to TC this year.

    That's on him.

No I didn't help TC, but nobody can blame me for no TC when I have no involvement in the preparation or advertising of an event i'm not linked to.

The sooner your organization get out of the twink scene and allow/influence new people to pop up and organize Twink Cup without your money hungry monopoly on it the sooner the bracket can revive, none of your team had any heart or drive to make Twink Cup work this year and that's the end of it.

It took your organization until there was 2 weeks of sign ups left for them to actually acknowledge the situation publicly and address the situation.

But again, thanks for clearing up that NWL couldn't be bothered gathering hype or advertising because nobody threw $$$ at you to do so.
