edit- although, it's gonna be difficult to limit the 20s that stood fast and ground out the gear prepatch to get those enchants while everyone else cried in their cheerios at the loss of leveler fodder and just QQ the bracket is dead...

Soon as you start telling people thy cant use stuff they worked for they'll generally tell you "ok, cya..."

2/2 gems tighten up the gap quite a bit better at 20 than they do at 29, it could really make their games comfortable, IMO.

But... lets be real, unless they get the levelers back to crap on 20 is basically toast. So moot conversation.

i61 gear lava burst with full malestrom crits for 700 in BG

Ele lavaburst hits for less then enh and resto because it can echo. Like my 20 shaman in meh gear hits up to 1600 when both hits crit. this is with 32% haste 52%mastery and 250ish spellpower.

Resto with the same gear hits 1k lb's 1k+ bolts and 1k+ chain lightnings 3k+ with stormkeeper. specs damage is pretty funny tbh.

I think that far less people went and got i87s than you think. They still have the i61s ready to go, so unless they just want to be a ridiculously unreasonable asshole I really don't think "can you please wear i61s in wargames" is not that far fetched of a request... as opposed to "sure, go play in the regular queue with that i87 trash and wait to take 6k from my 29s Rets wake of ashes."

Well... I'd think those that truly want wargames would have farmed at least some GF gear for their beloved twinks and not just pouted like the ones that truly just want to face levelers/weak2play did. And of course the "i don wanna hamster wheel" that lost their greens are in a difficult spot too.

I agree not as many got i87 as should/could.... but those that did are most likely the ones that'll be pushing for wargames.

And there aint a lot of chatter (here at least) regarding it. About 1/20th as much as those simply here cursing out 29...

Are you going all in on the maelstorm talents? I prefer windfury and iceblade tbh, iceblade hits for around 800-900 for me crit wise and causes my frostshocks to also hit for over 800. I find maelstrorm generation to be too hit or miss to invest fully in it but thats just me. gears a bit otudated as well I need an ironfoe for Mh for sure.

Probably, the grind is def tedious. I have done a ton of runs on multiple toons and I think I only have 5-6 pieces on 2-3 toons.

I'm still grinding on one 20 for i87s but that's it just in case we are stuck with that crap for 2 years or who knows more... but the 29 is done so worse case scenario I just have to wait 50 minutes to hit people.
