However in 10-19s I've never seen casters not be viable. Cata arcane mages 1 shot people with barrage - in mop Destro locks were destroying people and in WoD a desto lock was bis for premades. Not to mention the fact that other teams played with mages and affli locks before that. And that fact that boomkins have been op since mop and they are also casters. Your statement is invalid in my opinion.

Its easy enough to do the same thing with non casters. Rogues have been good since cata and basically 1 shotting with opener since mop (still good in legion just not 1 shotting), hunters have been fotm or top tier since vanilla, arms warriors have been good since mop, BM monks were good from mop-WoD and were mandatory in WoD premades and WW monks have been good since mop.
