Story behind the name

Hello

Masara is an anagram of Aramas, and Aramas is Samara backwards.

Samara was a character I played in an RPG called Ars Magica, which I stole in turn from a character from the film "The Ring".

Atsuro is the name of a character from the game Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor. He's similar to me in many points.

The Character, Marxis, which is my main by all accounts is the name I used for my first Warrior in Wow back in Wrath of the Lich King when I was.. maybe 15-16 years old and I have usually always used it, with the variant Marxxis. Of course I get tells about how I'm a commie or some stupid shit, but eh...

Grathlong comes from a brian jacques book series that is a lot of fun. Grath long was a charcter in the book that was a river otter who was an expert slinger with a sling. Im into marksmanship stuff so the name has been my screen name and my nickname.

o_O i actually know what your talking about...i had nearly forgotten all about those books.

OT: when i was like 11 i started calling myself maxxtheslayer for online purposes. when i cam to wow i kept the max part with my first character Maxtroll and then when i migrated to AP after having seen deadvulcanoes youtube vids i made an UD mages named Frostymax. then there was this p2p who grouped way back when named phrawsty(i think) so i wound up being phrawstymax or phrawsty___(insert relevant word to class)

I got several characters named after bodily functions. Windbreaker is a juvenile fart joke name and the toon I was playing on a 7 day free pass from blizz when I signed up here. I'm not a clever person when it comes to naming, all my great ideas turn into frustration after 7 or 8 "that name is already taken" pop ups and I loathe special characters in a name.

Vephlora was originally my frost dks name but when I started in the 20/24 bracket I used it for my rogue. Vepar is a Duke of Hell who governs the waters and the phlora part came from my toon being a nelf and associating them with nature.

rsq has been my video game username for as long as I can remember. I had to pick a name for Star Wars Rogue Squadron back when I was like... 7? It was one of those old keyboard screens where you scroll alphabetically from A-Z. I mashed the N64 controller and it ended up turning out as rsq. The fact that rsq was unintentional yet so close to RogueSQuadron blew my mind and it stuck for every game after.

When I was subbed, I mained a character named Areescue (Are-Es-Cue; r-s-q).

Salfir was originally Salphir, named after my vanilla 29 frost mage twink. I just kind of threw the name together as it sounded both 'frosty' from the ph_r and was similar to sapphire; blue like WoW's mage color.

Gexceour- i wanted something that fitted the Wow style like Garrosh or Varian so my druid was named gexceour a heroic name for a heroic druid :D

There isent really a story behind my name, it just sorta came to me, it is ''okey'' backwards thou :>

Started playing Wow as a complete joke, cracking myself up by naming my first toon Hairyarmpits and chasing people around naked saying weird things. Accidentally started doing quests, joined a bg and dungeon queue having no idea what they were, ended up liking it despite being one of those undergeared mountless people. Used google and tried to learn how to play... Hairyarmpits evolved to Hairyfeet...I realized how dumb that was and thought Feet would be original.

i have a boatload of female paladins named some version of Maven, Máven, Mavén, or Mávén because it's an obscure synonym for Judge.

female prot pally named Shamira because its the female Hebrew name for 'protector of the innocent.' sounds perfect to me.

ele shammy named Seimicity because it sounds cool and it's a word for earthquake. again, extremely appropriate.

disc priest named Ðìsco. lame.

male rogue named MisÇreant. "person behaving badly" is pretty much texbook definition of a rogue.

female rogue named Misscreant.

Pandaren shaman named Wuxìan: Chinese for shaman.

Pandaren prot warrior named Zhànche: Chinese for Tank.

Pandaren priest named Xiànmushi: Chinese for 'priest of light'

another Pandaren priest names Xiàn: again, Chinese for Priest.

pretty much all the names of my toons are RP appropriate...

except i have a druid named Wõrgnfreeman... because Wõrgnfreeman.
like there needs to be any other reason lol.
