Stop Reporting Undergeareds AFK

It's just trashy and it's just poor sportsmanship.



You have to remember that this is a TRIAL BRACKET. People legitimately play this bracket and are legitimately trying the game out. They don't need to be verbally harassed or kicked from the game just because they "aren't on your level". While it's an unfortunate event and in some cases the team gets dragged down because of it, it's no reason to completely **** on someone's experience of the game.



Instead of flaming and kicking these people, Educate them. Link them to twink info, Give them suggestions as to how to improve their character. Let them know that there is a community that actively and professionaly participates in this bracket and that with a little time and effort, they can be a part of it.



When I see this sort of activity, I attempt to stop the harassment with the consequences being that I report the offender.This is against the ToS and I have gotten angry Twinkinfo PM's about 2-day bans as a result of me being proactive about the situation and I encourage everyone to do the same.



This behavior's just unacceptable and I encourage the decent players on these forums to try and help put a stop to this. Some people just give f2p's a bad name, I'm proud to be a f2p and I won't have this in my community.

Who gives a **** who else is on your team? Winning or losing is based off how good you do compared to how good you normally do (imo). I am surprised that someone who plays as much as Cotus gives a **** about their teammates.... I mean it's a pug... Do you really think someone having a lil bit better gear is going to change your performance that much? If you do, then gtfo of pugs and faceroll randoms with premes more. Reporting undergeared peeps is a serious **** move. But hey, if being a **** floats your boat then go for it. just so you know you're a ****, ****.

You should never forget that this is f2p. So everybody who's trying out the starter edition will end up here and will join the bg's.



I dont like being in a pug with more than 3 far undergeared players. But hey, when you pug a lot and i do (Horde), you see

enough undergeared players on both sides. It only seems that horde has more of them than ally.



Kicking players is ok for me when they have either death debuff or white/grey gear. But this community shouldn't have this

******* mentality and just kick them.

We should always give them a hint where to inform and to gear up.



This bracket unfortunately doesn't need to lock XP. If so we would not see a lot undergeared. But THIS is a fact and we only

have a chance to change something when we give these guys at least a hint where to inform and maybe improove.



And to be honest. The best moments in battlegrounds are the close games. Winning or loosing. That is either playing pug

against others pugs (With the chance to have undergeared players on BOTH sides) or playing premade against other

premades/pugs including 24's.



Btw. Even with only 5-man-premades in WSG you win most games including some scrumb in your team.

One more reason I stopped playing F2P: Cotus is an elitist Jerk who has no Skill - so he plays a mage, kicks people who are undergeared. BUT he knows that they all have more skill then him....

I have a macro for linking to wowhead, TI, etc. They may take the hint, or not.



If people actively turn off xp gain, they (might) know what they're doing. A lot of trial accounts just level to 20 and only then decide to try out PvP, so they don't even know they're getting into xp-off BGs, let alone what twinking is. Reporting someone afk is not for kicking people I don't want to play with. It's for reporting someone afk. If they cheat, like described in the achievement swapping thread, I would of course open a ticket to report them.



On the other hand, I really don't care enough to open a ticket concerning anyone who asks me to report some new player afk. Too much effort, and it'd be like Cuttin' Me Own Throat.

If you report someone AFK that isn't 100% useless then it will have no effect, other than for them to know they aren't really wanted. As long as they are only being 99.9% useless, then reporting them won't remove them from the game.



As for the likes, they like your sass. Not what you actually say. One my most liked posts was me telling someone to **** off essentially.

LOL I played warlock in F2P I know myself what it is like and you atleast have the chance to close the gap atleast once or twice as mage with blink and Frost Nove, so stfu. . My paid account went inactive around the end of November, and I played on a Phantasy Star Online private server through all of December. I came back the day after new years and rolled a legit 20 account. Check all of the armouries in my sig.



It helps to know what you're talking about, but you have "X AMOUNT OF LIKES" so I guess you have immunity as far as your logic, grammar, and your all around bad attitude are concerned.

yes, actually, before you get a decent item in every/most slots your gear is pretty much preventing you from being useful



the team that controls mid is the team that has the gear/class composition advantage



also losing can be fun in the right context, but it's not fun when there's 9 useless teammates





side note: loooool at that guy that said mages take no skill. paladins and hunters are the obvious pick for classes that are useful when facerolling

I haven't played frequently for a couple of weeks now, but I do remember that we informed the 600 hp players that their gear was severely inadequate and provided a link to help them improve it (along with the advise of coming to Aerie Peak) before we kicked them. I understand the distaste for this sort of solution, but you should think about how fun these games are for those players. Trying out a game in this bracket with less than 1k hp is hardly more enjoyable than someone telling you that you need better gear and then seeing a loading screen. I'm sorry it bothers you so much, but we can only carry so many people before it becomes a babysitting simulator.

kicking out -1k players is fine because that effects your experience of the game BUT just dont be rude about it and provide a link to twinkinfo maybe a arrmory link if u know some1 of that class from the top of your head and recomend Aerie Peak to them so they can be helped out

Good players started a long time ago. If you are still a bad player at this point, go play a different MMO like SWToR where 90% of the new rerolls are horrible. This is a niche game now.



I personally don't care about PUGs enough to initiate kicks, but if someone is reporting an undergeared player, I'll add my vote to the pile.



BTW Jera, don't **** talk on Cotus. You aren't on his level, and you will get trolled hard.
