Stop complaining about 29s

This is not a f2p vs p2p issue; this is a top of the bracket vs bottom of the bracket issue. Which, to my understanding, is the underlying conflict in every twink bracket since time immemorial.

And yet, for some reason, this looks worse than Bronze Elo on League of Legends.

People were complaining about the "abuse" that mods were doing when closing threads and distributing warnings but truth be told, the e-peen weaving in twinkinfo is already pissing me off.

Lock the thread please.

I actually feel bad for the old 29s who kept the 25-29 bracket alive. Overnight and without their consent they were all changed into P2Ws.

Not a single person has complained about 29s, and I'm appalled that a thread called "stop complaining about 29s" has gotten to ~60 replies based on a false premise which I disproved in the first 5 posts.

I asked to have this thread locked and removed right at the beginning, because it was false and inflammatory. It wasn't locked or removed, and now because of that, there is now an argument where before there was none. If you don't handle these troll posts of false claims properly right away, this is what you get.

And Willix, you are so rude, condescending, non-contributory, and mean, that I don't know how you manage to avoid going the route of inoob. You don't deserve the privilege of posting in our forum if everything out of your mouth is just F2P hatred. Stay on your own forum where you're allowed to say whatever you want where we don't have to read it. This is twinkinfo.com, not f2pabuse.com. Your posts are not welcome here.

Even for a hypocritical rat, you're acting like a self-righteous douche. Perhaps it was not locked or removed because the mods don't completely share your own viewpoint, you should probably take a moment to think about what occurs in a world which does not revolve around yourself.

I think what we have here is a question of intent. I feel bad for the OG 29s that kept the faith for so long, only to get caught up in the Trail Wars. Not so much for those that left it to die, only to come back on patch day, when they thought they could pay to steamroll trials, get their asses handed to them, and then proceed to go on the official forums to attack the bottom of the bracket. And no pity at all for the original cata 24s, who for some reason, think that they are still twinked.

MoP p2ps that are more or less clueless to the original intentions of cata 24s, f2ps and everyone else that doesn't fit into one of these above groups is just fine by me, and I have no strong feelings one way or the other. This may just be the bracket to twink in for WoD (credit to yoube and HB on their podcast), one in which you can pay to have different gearing options, but one in which f2ps are still viable. I think Blizzard actually listened to the twinks this time, and we are reaping the benefits.

Wod has two things going for it when it comes to twinking:

1. Significantly better game balance (games come down to skill instead of lol FOTM burst and classes are much less ridiculous).

2. Significantly better pvp game mode options (random BGs, 3 extra maps @ 29, Skirms, Wargames fixed, ect).

Wod twinking has two things going against it:

1. An overwhelming number of people saturating the 20-29 bracket with F2Ps, degrading game quality and removing what would otherwise be balanced pvp.

2. Most other brackets are dead.

If F2Ps want to help the twinking community, they'll remember the brackets they played before there were F2Ps, and try to find roots in those brackets again. Having more options is what keeps twinking interesting enough to stay alive. Get bored with one bracket? Play another.

But if everyone is going to continue flocking to the 20-29 bracket, it's going to be damn near impossible to see anything good happen in other brackets.Waste of time spent balancing the game imo.

These threads serve no purpose besides generating hate and negativity, increasing the already large amount of friction in between twinks. This "f2p vs p2p" argument doesn't benefit anyone at all. Every time it's the same story with both sides trying to justify themselves, achieving nothing and then finally resorting to flaming. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong, you see the same hate-filled posts every time.

I ain't going off at you in particular. These threads have existed since 2011 (when I was a mere lurker) and one of the reasons why f2p's were given a separate forum in the first place. Every single time these discussions are given a chance and not immediately locked, it still ends up the same way. This thread is yet another example.

Do I dislike the subject matter? I absolutely abhor it and I'm sure there are a lot frequent visitors here who think the same.
