Skirmishes would be "kinda" balanced when Blizz will mange to properly scale f2p's.

You do realize how retarded that suggestions is? All f2ps will never buy the game to play in the same bracket. I made peace with the idea we are leeching pops from unsuspecting real trials. I do not feel bad about playing against noobs because that is the tough love to encourage them to get on my level (f2p twink). And they tend to learn the FOTM very quickly to give them a compensation for lack of skill. The delusion that if every f2p would upgrade and keep playing the same bracket is laughable.

People go there because 24/7 pops, which drains activity from 19s, 29s, 39s, 49s, 59s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and any other bracket that isn't naturally capped by expansion content. This didn't happen until Blizzard removed the time limit on trial accounts and started eliminating the natural caps by rolling expansions into the battle chest. Instead of mooching off Blizzard, you could be instead helping those dead brackets get activity.

So when you welfare queens come along to grace us with your self entitlement, it's really fucking disrespectful to both the community who paved the way for twinking in Wow (before you came along), and to the company you refuse to support through a monthly contribution. I mean, it's nice that you get to 'twink' (and I use that term very loosely) without having to pay for it, but at some point you have to understand that if everyone didn't pay for the game, there wouldn't be a game.

Just keep patting yourself on the back while the rest of us support your gaming habit. I imagine that feeling is a lot like the one a mother of 9 gets when spending her welfare check on getting her hair/nails done.

tbh, more former 29, 39, 49, etc twinks quit wow altogether than went f2p, by a large margin. So keep in mind the "greener pastures" aren't in WoW, so it's not loyalty to the bracket, as you put it, but loyalty to the game as a whole. The game is becoming more & more like something you'd get from zynga on facebook, not a good thing, imo

They quit because of how increasingly difficult it was to organize activity. Between getting balance/fair games despite the class imbalances, and having to deal with the lack of interested/willing people to show up, there's a sharp decline in interested people for other brackets when anyone can build a 20/24 and just show up to the '24/7 pops' bracket. This is how brackets die.

You know what. I had a char on level 19 back in Classic that i stopped leveling because:

I was tired of the rat race at endgame which ment not the better player but the player with more time won
I didnt even know about twinking but i hade 2 desires.
Try out different classes and play on an "even" playing field without a constant pressure to play just to "keep up".
I was nothing special maybe an inch better than the leveling chars but it was those early twinks with crusader that had to be the best to oneshot and own the battleground that ruined the fun.

Thats when I quit. I enjoyed the pvp in WoW but was disgusted by the twink heroes that had to spoil the innovent fun of just doing BGs for the fun of it.

I joined back into WoW when i learned about f2p. Back then there were hardly any p2ps. It was like heaven for me. Everyone can easily get the same gear and we can just play pvp for fun wihtout any crass gear issues. pops 24/7.

I do not know how i stayed this long with the f2p absoribing all the "real twinks" from other brackets that couldnt be arsed to restrict themselves on the level that was widely established in the bracket. f2p didnt kill the other brackets the scum that was in the other brackets starved them when they figured they could stomp f2p with less effort.

I have no idea what any of this has to do with what we're currently talking about. You don't like the gear treadmill, that's fine. Don't play end game. You don't like getting beat by players who considerably out gear you, that's fine too. Either quit or get the same gear/chants as those people.

Complaining about the difference is pointless in a game designed around making a character and improving said character with gear and other items which are put in the game specifically for that purpose. 'Twink killed me with Crusader, waaaah!' So get your own Crusader enchants and kill him back. Oh, that means you'll have to pay for the full game and a sub fee?

Its very interesting to see people still refuse to let things go nomatter what.

P2ps have all the rights to do what they want when it comes to playing in any bracket at any lvl. And if you cry about this then you are welcome to sub. But being a p2p doesn't mean you can just stamp on f2ps with your words.

F2p is actually only meant to give people a chance to xp the game before subscribing.(duh)
Ofc its your choice to stay there with friends and have fun as much possibilities as your char given. But you also gotta remember the fact that you are playing on a ground of a paid MMO game. You can't criticise people who decides to play in a same bracket with you, cuz its their choice as well as your choice to remain as f2p. 'Course you also had p2p acc before or still have. But who cares- you chose to stay f2p as of now and you should even know better than saying stuff like "thanks to f2ps that you get pop" or "go switch to 90" etc considering you are smart and experienced?

Still, the entire bracket people is unnecessarily miss-criticised here cuz of some ignorant comments.
