Kudos for starting a thread with so many great responses! I think a few of the aforementioned insights are probably worth highlighting...
[...] What class would you reccomend for mostly pve Stuff, like solo abit tougher mobs or generaly farming?
I think your question
as phrased was answered most-simply by
@LecolaEU:
I advice choosing a class with
-Heals
-have tank spec. [...]
...that's really all you need to know. The ability to endure harder-hits
and heal damage just makes tougher-encounters easier.
Druid - 9/10
[...] you fill all 4 rolls of the game, tank, melee dps, ranged dps, healer.
Loads of gear sets [...]
Underrated observations. WoW isn't a static game: gear-stats change, class-specs change,
times change... so when the biggest "changes" strike, whichever class has the most gear/spec options is the least-likely to suffer.
...and that's Druid.
(
I'm proudly #TeamPally4Lyfe... but I've wasted hundreds of hours soloing dungeons for strength-items that never dropped, and I lay-awake at night worrying that a future patch will revoke our Divine Shield like they did our Lay on Hands.)
Combine that with the Druid's ability to "shift" their role mid-battle, and they literally become
"an army of one".
[...] tank spec means you won't get dazed running through higher level zones, making exploration a breeze.
I can't stress-enough how comforting it is to encase oneself in full-survival-plate and just ride
in a straight line to wherever your destination is, with
complete disregard for any threats along the way.
Which brings-up an additional point... if you eventually "catch the bug" and decide to
push the limits of what a solo
F2P can achieve, then the Paladin's
Divine Shield is quite simply a game-changer. Whether it's a
bugged objective, or surviving just-long-enough to reach/interact-with/get-credit for something...
immunity has the potential to make "the impossible" possible.
(
Heck, sometimes I'm lazy-enough that I use it just to accept holiday-quests in the wrong-faction's city! )
...but seriously, if your "free time" is limited then there will always be more-than-enough content to keep you entertained, no matter
what class you choose to play.
TL;DR -- All of our advice it worthless, play whatever-the-fuck-you-want... because the
Shadowlands™
leveling-redesign is coming and until we get details, anything-is-possible and "
F2P character planning" has no meaning anymore.
