Noteworthy observations:
  • First character on a new account:
    • 1-10 New Starting-Area, 10-50 BFA, 50-60 Shadowlands
  • Existing characters and Alts:
    • 1-10 New/Traditional Starting-Area, 10-50 Any Expansion(s), 50-60 Shadowlands
  • Speed: Completing any single expansion sufficient to reach 50.
  • Confusing: He didn't describe the expansions as a "scaled world", but more like an "optional timewalking"...

I'm getting interested in how WPvP will work since the greatest hinderance is generally level disparity. Melee/spell hit and such. The "power" was already just squished and they say power is not changing, the power curve should ramp up faster.

Since leveling is going to be faster... yes?

edit- saying of power, level 50 classic "power" is not level 120 BFA "power" - so they're not just taking that format over to retail. Lower to mid levels should do far more serious damage at the level range than at previous levels compared to now.
