Who ever that "MVP" on the forum is, he clearly has no clue.
Blizzard can infact de-level you for other things than a GM "accidently leveling you, while on your character". Proven in wotlk when Kurian fell through the ground and got discover EXP while in darnassus. There was no "issues with character even being playable".

I was thinking right - this is extreme but this is what I'd request from Blizzard.
1. Call up customer support. Tell them you're continuously being hacked by a guy forging your ID. Tell them to get who ever is highest authority - or tell them to get you an appointment with them as soon as possible.
2. Talk to this person, and ask him if there's a possibility of you verifying your ID by going on webcam and showing that it is indeed not photoshopped ID that you're holding in your hand next to your god damn face.
3. Make them put a perm lock on the details on that account - so it can NEVER in the future - even by you - be changed.
4. Try not to forget your psw/details/authenticator etc.

Oh, I've already went through that process. It's what they called 'Dated ID'. You submit 2 pictures: one of the photo ID next to your face, and the other of your photo ID next to a public, dated, published document (like a newspaper). The problem is there's no way to perma lock the details on the account. Even when I tell them to add notes on my account to ask for more than fake ID to change my info, the customer support reps are too lazy to look through the notes so the hacker just submits fake ID every time and gets through.

well maybe thats what he wants him to think, Kahr said in one of the other hack threads that the hacker is trying to merge Sneakys and Kahrs accs into his.
so guess he wants the other chars.

I talked to the supervisor of GM's today. He said they cannot and will not transfer my gear over to a new toon or de-level me. He also said they can't unbind my Shadowfangs for me.
However he did look into the account ownership dispute and was able to help me a little. He checked the IP's and chat logs on my account over the past week or so. I also gave him the hacker's information and he said they will be investigating it (though I'm almost sure there won't be much of an investigation).
His name is Oscar Ning (according to my sources). His battletag is RustyABO. If you have him on battletag I believe he can see your real ID e-mail adress/name through an exploit of some sort. Someone added me on battletag a few days ago and for some reason they were added to my real ID instead, so yeah, I can say the exploit exists [firsthand].
