I have played the same class (not same toon, but class) since Cata now. A warlock. That's what I have used as a main, that's what my twink is currently, and that's what I have the most knowledge of.

I have read lots of things about other classes looking to branch out and away from what I know. But I want the raw knowledge and experience on your class.

Explain what you love about your class. I'm not here to down anyone, any play style, or any 1 class. But I want to know from each of you what you think makes your class so great.

I only have about 3 months left of my game time before I go back to F2P and I want to take a second class with me when I go.

I can't wait for everyone's response.


*note* It does not have to be about the top damage, kills, or heals just strictly what do you like most about it.

I fully respect what you're saying but I want to know from people who play those classes. I want to know some detail as to why they enjoy it so much. Not just a chart showing where people think they should rank on "coolness"

I'm not asking you to explain coolness, but what you like about your class. I understand that I would have to experience it. But I don't want to rush and get each class lvl'd and somewhat geared before my time runs out. I want to know what people's experience with each class is. What have you found are some cool things your class can do that is hard for others. What have you found your class struggles with. That kind of detail is what I'm lookin for on this.
 
Since you mained Warlock for many years, doubt that anything I say would be a new discovery to you. But here it is nontheless.

Warlocks, theyre an authentic class. The most unique class in my opinion, World of Warcraft's classes have been mimiced/made through ages and from every MMORPG/AAA Games/JRPG etc. But I have never, not once, seen a Warlock's portrayal in World of Warcraft been ever made/achieved in a game period. The way the class feels, the way it functions, its so god damn authentic.
And what makes it ten times better, each Spec (except demonology) is so damn different and plays way drastically than the other.

-One Spec (Destruction) has the ability to become a walking armageddon, setting the world on fire, but he just wants to start the flame in your heart. Watching your character produce a mass of green fucking cum (Chaos Bolt pre-BFA because the Demon-fish Chaos Bolt is much fucking better than whatever the modern one is) to your enemies and eating half their HP is so damn fulfilling and cosmic.

-(Affliction) is an entire story in itself, the ability to succ the life force of your enemy and watching it suffer 50 different types of diseases and ebola is just thrilling and a sadistic experience, dont forget to vaccinate.
I just cant play a different class in one day without getting the daily dose of Chaos Bolt, Unstable Affliction and Malific Rapture. Definitely a Class that is distinguished enough to be my number 1. maybe death knights are cool too

Yesssss this is the type of things I wanna hear. Given it is about the class that I play but still. That's a great example of a class. Thank you for your input it was very well put together!
 
Holy paladin.

Can wear cloth leather mail plate, easy to gear in terms of 28 tert gears. if there is a gf'd item in the future, chances are, you will benefit from it.

Only healing class that hunters struggle with.

Bubble and lay on hands.

Cooldowns line up with kick window (got kicked? No problem, couldnt holy shock for 4 seconds anyway)

Easy to play. 2-in-1 macros help greatly as a healer.
 
I play a glass cannon Feral Druid - built around maximising my ferocious bite.

It's heaps of fun if you enjoy sneaking around, setting up for the perfect moment, then one-shotting clothies.
Not much fun if you hate dying as soon as you're caught out of stealth and feeling inadequate (druid toolkit at 20 is pretty shit, no defensives, no stuns, no cancel casts).
