but seriously the answer is druid.

Tank, Healer, Ranged dps, Melee dps, FC, stealth and so many different ways you can build each to suit your play style.

SL is the xpac of viability, everything can be used in some niche way or another and druid has so many options if you are talking about having one extra class then this is the best way to ‘stretch’ it a little bit.

So just got Docadin back from his game time vacation, and I still think or it pala has allot to offer. It falls into a jack of all trades space were you have good dmg and healing as well as good cc and defensive cds. Dispute the protest of some it is an incredibly durable class. just ask @CigNus how difficult it is to topple prot pala in 2s (my pala isn't even exceptionally well geared by any means.) People 100% sleep on the class.

That said I'll be upfront about the downsides. Prot pala needs to generate holy power to survive well, which means you are susceptible to kiting. Also you just don't have the punch to do well in. 3s or war games were coordinating cc for bursts is the play. Prot pala does good dmg but it is attrition and survival not burst. Lightforge helps with this so I can add racial into burst attempts w HoJ.

Also like 50% of the time I use invul to clear cc or snares I usually do not need it to extend my never-ending life.
