Shadowfangs are still really good with 6 agi and the proc. If you have warforged legion gear, those might be better weapon damage.

Most dungeon/heirloom/scaled quest blue weapons are going to be very similar and give the same amount of agi and stam along with some secondaries. Its going to depend on how important secondaries are and how glass cannon you want to be. But most ilvl 19 weapons will be fine for right now until we get more numbers.

The question was specific to 19 rogues, so no darkwater talwar available. Also the (previous) reason shadowfang was so good was because of the weapon damage and agility, the proc was icing on the cake. Weapon damage has been normalized for most weapons (all weapons that I know of at 19, some exceptions in 20-29 and 30-39) - so the real advantage would be the agility.

So we want to wait and see how things are working and what playstyles are going to work. Combat/Outlaw rogues have a slow and can generally stay on a target to deal continuous damage, so stam and verse have been important in the past to stay alive. Ambush rogues went full glass cannon for agi and crit/verse to frontload all damage since they were going to be kited or killed anyways. Given the current northrend engineering situation, its hard to tell how powerful attacks are going to be and if its worth having any stam or just going full agility.

At 19 and 20 all weapons have the same speed. For 29 I don't know how the slow mace compares with the other 29 options.

So for outlaw, you want a 1h sword/mace/axe mainhand. Offhand is mostly about the stat stick. I think the enchant procs are normalized, so it doesn't matter if you have a fast or slow offhand. I prefer a dagger personally, but thats cause I've used a dagger offhand since vanilla - but really its about the stats.

For the other two, you want daggers because you need them for skills.

If you don't have grandfathered options, I think the BiS options are going to be the weapons from BG crates. Any dungeon/quest blue or heirloom will do until then (and isn't that far behind).

Yeah, unless they changed something major with those specs. I haven't looked at them. If any of the abilities still require dagger, then might as well go double dagger.

There are so many GFd items and options. You gotta figure this out the best gear with your GFd gear on your own. Look at your gear. Agi is the best stat. Verse is the best secondary, and crit isn't bad. Agi is worth ~2-2.5 verse for a rough estimate.
