I disagree it actually makes it far. Better in opening opportunitiez when before u couldn't even approach his cause everything was grandfathered.

There isn't too many GF'd twinks running around in the grand scheme of it all... On this site yes, in actual games, not so much. And most currently available gear is BiS anyway.

Just another reasons I wont be playing anything below 80.

I personally hate this update, it's for the same reason i lost motivation to play max level in legion. this is a system where two players do the exact same objective but one out of the two people receive a greater reward based on sheer luck, this doesnt sit right with me and in imo it's a negative change for the bracket. Not only because it's rng, but some of us that have had our twinks for a long time will have already completed all the quests, so we won't even have a shot at some upgrades. Guess our only option will try to abuse gm's but even that has gotten a lot harder in recent times.

And yes, I know gear isnt all there is to twinking, but for me personally chasing the best possible gear is half the fun of twinking and this kinda ruins the even playing field.

I'm not totally in favor of the change but don't see it making a massive difference until someone obtains a large number of epics on the same twink.

What I'm not clear on is if that's possible through insane dedication by faction changing multiple times and running the quest chains over & over until the epics you want eventually pop. If that works, the amount of time & real money investment could become obscene which is a problem because you know at least one person out there is crazy enough to do it and once someone in our bracket is decked out in epics we'll all feel niggling subconscious pressure to follow.
On the other hand if we can't faction transfer endlessly for unlimited quest rolls, one or two people will get obscenely lucky and the rest of us will be stuck without any way to match their gear until Blizz eventually allows ilvl 35 dungeon blues to proc epic.

Lucky there's no on-use or proc trinket quest rewards in this bracket we need to worry about, the main thing will be weapons especially for specs that scale well with weapon dmg. Yeah I'd consider faction transferring once or twice for a shot at a purple Master Hunter's Rifle, not least because I have the BC-era version sitting in my bank which Blizz had the gall to nerf down to ilvl 29 from ilvl 45 so I kinda feel I'm owed a non-gimped version. Can't say I like the idea of a twink gear arms race starting though.

Appreciate the insight. Now I just need to figure out which quests & rewards correspond to each faction & which are neutral.

I think you're both talking past each other. If you started as horde, completed all the available quests, go alliance, complete same quests that are shared among both factions, but then again go back horde, non of the quests will be reset, because you already completed them once on said faction. I think that's what Bung referred to. So you can't just spam faction back and forth to get lucky. You get ONE second attempt at shared quests between both factions, and that's it.

The RNG makes it impossible to get multiple BiS slots from questing... your chances are in the millions/billions once you do one quest... even if you get an epic... the chances on the next quest being BiS is in the billions... so even if you are the most die hard kid with infinite time you wont get them... no matter how many toons you delete and try again on a new toon.

World drops are the best you can hope for... as was said in the 39s... this is basically going to be about getting 85-90% full twinks at best... there will be nobody with BiS actual twink... which in all fairness is the best thing that can happen to twinking... its now about the journey and not the destination... and it's also now not about just having more gold then anybody else.

Sure some kids will get butt hurt about their GF items being trash... sorry... get the **** over it... the more twinks there are the better the bracket is... if that steps on your GF items... go away.

Yeah definately sucks, but it will honestly be cool to see the items on players. The only problem is that it makes lower level toons even less attractive to me, I hate the idea of spamming new characters for rng.

It's gonna force me to simplify and shrink my character pool. There's no way Im running for epic weapons on rerolls of 30-ish F2P toons. Just gonna have to pick a class or two and focus on those. What really gonna chap my ass is Im gonna do it this week and in like 2 xpacs, F2P is gonna get access to allied races and I'll have to do it all over again.
