Religion is a social construct created by simpletons who aren't smart enough to answer difficult questions themselves, and so find solace in believing it as an act of God. Just reading some of the comments made on this thread about evolution and the general lack of knowledge about issues that have annals of research behind them leads me to believe that Twinkinfo also has some of these simpletons meandering in the fora.

I can believe that moronic religious kook (who claimed he wasn't a biologist within the first 30 seconds of the video) or I can believe the several PhDs that I've had the opportunity to work with on things that actually matter in this world. If you don't believe in evolution, which at this point is about as substantiated as the idea that the world is in fact round, you are either uneducated or so severely brainwashed that you can't seem differentiate between fantasy and reality.

He doesn't deny evolution. He denies that all species on earth evolved from one organism. In the first seconds of the video he professes himself to be a layman (amateur) and he also acknowledges the fact that he is not a biologist in any means. Look at the progression of historic hominds on google. Theyre still finding skeletons of prehistoric humans in caves in Africa

For the simplest example of evolution in effect (in sped up form), look at Antibiotic Resistance

-You have 1 million bacteria, you use antibiotics and 99.9% of the bacteria die and you are left with 1,000 strong bacteria
-Those bacteria multiply in numbers and they reach numbers of 1 million again
-You come out with new antibiotics to counter the stronger bacteria
-99.9% die and they repopulate as even stronger than before

Currently the world is running out of effective Antibiotics because of the overuse of Antibiotics in the food and medical sectors which effectively made bacteria much more resistant

You can imagine these bacteria as species, the weak ones die, the ones left alive are able to reproduce, it's survival of the fittest

Is this the thread where all the college students go to talk about the new things they learned about evolution from their professors and talk about "religion" being bad yet they are generalizing every religion as if all of them are bad. You know that Muslims believe in flooding into non Muslim countries to then take them over due to mass immigration and forced assimilation to force their shariah law on people. In the Uk people said Muslims won't become the minority, the most common name for a boy now in the UK is Muhammad. Why are many Europeans not flooding the Middle East in waves of hundreds of thousands? Because they don't reside in non third world environments and they would rather live here but still force us to abide by their laws. Which is the direct result of their million man marches and they test the waters with protests and then that then leads to extreme violence if they don't get their way. You can't just compare religions to an extreme one and say they are the same.

I believe in God and also if you pay REALLY close attention to movies there are some points that represents Christianity for example the movie Maleficent with Angelie Jolie and also other movies like I'am Legend but its very hidden so i recommend people should watch movies from a while back to see them but anyways thats my reason.
