Quitting Moderator / Bracket Manager

why were they doing this, was the volunteer a complete waste of space, was he occupying a spot many others would want to have but still not doing anything of what the others could do - because then there would be a good reason for the children to do what they did

u can replace volunteer with moderator and children with members on twinkinfo.com in my sentence in case u didnt get my point

people complained about him because he was a bracket manager @ 19 without even playing the bracket, but after yde had explained the real role of a bracket manager and why the title could have been misleading the complaints about stavie stopped, at least i didnt see any more qq threads about him after that so if he could give us a bit more clear reasoning behind why his work wasnt appreciated a month after ppl stopped flaming him thatd b gr8

I appreciate the work of all moderators on the website, however you're essentially Mayor. You're elected via popular opinion (that's not a bad thing, a good reputation makes a good mod) and I would only assume you want the position to keep some of the garbage and nonsense out of your respective bracket/the forum in general. However like any Mayor, you're going to have critics and you're not entitled to anything.

You chose the position and if you can't handle it, that's fine, but don't lash out at the community for it, regardless of how many times you say "Oh, except these people."

That's just an objective take. You have to consider the big picture in situations like this. It's not a very classy move and it's kind of embarrassing for you. I suggest just bowing out and going gracefully next time. While at the same time, I do have sympathy for you.

Again, just to clarify -I'm not trying to offend anyone. I agree with both sides, I appreciate the time and effort put into maintaining these forums, but I believe these are things you have to consider before weighing in on the subject.

I did play the bracket but not as actively as everyone else.

i wasnt stating my thoughts when i said waste of space, more like the complaints about him from the h8ers summarized

and yes pizza was just cleaning up the bracket as well when he was moderator/whatever

I expect this will get deleted as an @ thread and I fully understand, but I though it should be said.

I have decided to quit the Moderator job here on TwinkInfo. This is simply based on how I do not want to waste my time on you anymore. Why?

• 75% of you don't say thanks for our volunteer work.
• Elitism freaks who constantly tries to start flame wars.
• Are you not an veteran elite, your opinion is invalid. Newcomers are nothing.

So I have decided to step down and watch it from the side line. I don't want to help clean flamewars anymore.

This is not all from this community, there is some amazing people out there.

Thanks for your service. Based on your post, it seems like you are doing the right thing in stepping down. It also seems that your post was intended to get things to change a bit. I hope it serves the purpose you intended.
