Question- Currently is the game perceiving everybody in the battleground as level 24? If so, then how much hit rating do I need to be completely hit capped against everybody? I noticed hit scales down in a bg.
And why the hell my items stat bonuses dont get visually updated nor in my bag nor in my char page...

Blizzard being shitty, messy, and lazy.

Looking at your character in Sig, you should be fine on hit, with those Foremans.

Everyone is scaled up to the top of BG brackets. Your hit goes down because you turn into a 24, and secondary stats scale lower at higher levels. You only need to hit cap for your own level though.

You need 3% melee/ranged hit and 6% spell hit in BGs to be capped. That works out to 8/15 hit rating.

Most classes should still aim for 6% because a lot of abilities are based on spell hit (Charge stun, Roots, Hammer of Justice, etc.). Hunters need to be spell hit capped because some pet abilities can miss without it. Expertise gives spell hit (not melee hit) in addition to the reduced dodge chance, so in BGs you need 15 hit+expertise with at least 8 hit to be capped.

Items should show as scaled up in your bags. You can see the stats you actually get from an item you have equipped if you hold shift when you're mousing over it.

Well, right now Im changing my gear constantly to test different options so Im not sure what you saw from the link on my sig. But here's my finding-
Since everybody I put my mouseover IN the battleground is labeled as level 24, then I guess Im fighting only 24s. From that point on I need to cap myself so that when I mouseover the hit attribute in my char page while in the bg it has to say- level 20,21,22,23/skull 0.0% chance to miss.
Im a bit confused why it says 23/skull because 24s are not ??skull, does that mean one can actually never be capped truly for 24s? But here for my tests Im using the theory that if im capped for 23/skull, then Im capped for 24s aswell. OK then. When Im in the BG I equip eyepatch, boa bow and ring of precision- and then that shows hit rating of 19 (7.72%) and everything goes to 0.0%. Good. If I lower it to 18, switching some items, then everything is at 0.0% but 23/skull which is at 0,29% which I dont like. The number might be low but in practise ooooh maaan it means you ll miss once every ten shots. Still wearing the same gear outside the BG, because of scaling and what not my hit rating is lowered by one and now I have 18. But now im at 0.0% on all levels. That is fine but if im fighting outside I only need 14 rating to be hit capped. So now I can put my favorite naga piercer instead of the boa bow and that would be better for me (will have to also switch some rings). I also tried putting 20 and more hit rating while in the bg but all you need is 19. At least for my case as a hunter more than 19 = more unnecessary sacrifices be it agi crit or stam.
Fighting outside the BG is different. Then you only need 14 rating to have 0.0% miss chance against 20,21,22,23/skull.
Let's talk a little about foreman's gloves. Intentionally I am not including expertise outside the equation. Expertise makes you miss less but only auto attack shots and only if the opponent is to DODGE you. While the hit rating thing is against missing attacks/abillities because of another reasons. So I put expertise and hit separately.
Let's say I have enough hit so that eveyrthing shows 0.0% chance to miss but I still miss (this will only be auto attack) my opponent. Well, here comes expertise. If I put foreman's gloves there will still be a chance for that to happen but it will be lowered. And if I (that is yet to be proved) put enough cobrahan's items from the set and obtain the expertise bonus from it, then my auto shots will not miss at all. Well that sounds nice but for that to happen more sacrifices are coming in tems of stats and crit. I'd say it's not worth it cuz it will only enhance white dmg while losing crit will make all my other abilities suffer dmg.
edit: i might probably wrote a lot of crap :S

Quick exploration question:

Can a F2P head to Vashj'ir solo? If so, where does one swim from, to swim to Vashj'ir (assuming it's possible)? I've learned after my first (perhaps weak) try that fatigue even kills you as a ghost.

it was possible when water jumping bug was around. now probably not, u would probably be able to do it shaman water walking or high lvl with vial of sands.

Warlock - Demon Jump + soulstone
Druid - Aquatic Form + Rejuv
Pala - LoH or Bubble (you can overheal the damage if you are holy)
Shaman - Water walking (if you can use that on 20)
Mage - Blink when in fatigue zone, always a few meters.

Besides that: Goblin jump, Healing Potions, AGM, Swimspeed potion, Water Breathing potion, Sea Turtle, Any form of healing, and go :)

It's possible on literally anything.
Just gotta prepare.
See above ^

You swim from the west-most point of the dwarfy place, along the coastline.

Let's talk Bronze Band of Force. It's +1 Weapon Damage.

Let's take my Ret Paladin as an example. I have 240 AP. That's 17.14 damage per second more with my melee weapon. That means roughly 14 AP = 1 Weapon Damage. For a paladin 1 Strength = 2 AP. So this ring, for me, has the equivalent of 7 Strength and 5 Intellect. I see a lot of paladins using Band of Foul Strength (which I recognize is not BiS). If you are choosing to go the Strength route or for whatever reason you want that ring, why is Bronze Band of Force not the superior ring?

14 AP = 1 DPS, not 1 weapon damage.

14 AP = 1 DPS, not 1 weapon damage.

It says "Increases damage with melee weapons by 17.14 DPS. What is +1 Weapon Damage then?

Edit: Oh I see. So if my top-end is 95.76 it makes it 96.76 which then leads to like .3 DPS increase. Damn haha.

Then that's what I'm talking about. I go on Damage and scroll over and I have Attack Speed (+haste), Damage (a range) and DPS (50.26) The 50.26 is the addition of AP + Weapon DPS. That's the same stat.
