Questions & Answers

Thanks for your reply. So you are saying after I renew and then expire the sub my ret may have 225 skill points but still be unable to craft item beyond 75 (such as brilliant necklace or enchant minor striking). That kinda suck... I guess the whole point of vet is to rely on the 225 skill points and the stock of profession supplies self crafted or bought from ah during the sub period. Once sub is expired and stock runs out, either stuck to a 25 less skill point profession compared to a normal starter account character or renew the sub!!!

No you cannot apply an enchant that takes over 75 enchanting that you have on a scroll to your items. That too has to be done while your sub is active. You have to be ready to spend alot of gold during that free 30 days and then the free 10 days like 3 months later.

Thanks for the clarification. The vet is even more restricted than I imagine. Given that I have a p2p account and a linked starter account, a vet character with one time sub would be full heirloom + full high enchant + 75 profession pots, scrolls, food and bandage, while a f2p character on starter account would be full heirloom + low profession enchant on a few slot + 100 profession pots and other supplies.

Yes, but if you play vet/29 do you really need supplies in this bracket?

In bg with class capable to heal, pots that can heal 500 hp per minute means little, especially to bm monk and bear form druid who have enormous hp. But to rogue or hunter 10% hp could be a life saver. Not to mention the case of world pvp.
However, it's true that the differences of benefit between 100 and 75 supplies are very small: 100 more hp from healing pots, 80 more hp from bandage and 2 more stamina buff from food.

Hi, I'm new, I didn't play since cataclysm and some questions came to my mind.

My max lvl char is 85. If I buy an enchant from AH, use it on a heirloom and I send it to my lvl 20. Will be less powerful than if I do it with a lvl 100 character?.

I was looking for armories and I saw many characters have many "versatility" enchants. Why is good this stat?, is better stack "versatility" than a "main" stat, like intellect, strength, agility?

That's all for now, thank you!.

use this page to see all the good enchants for different levels
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Aysr8WcIId_KOAARNNRUtqNH32_SaIlPn14YF64UXgk/pubhtml

you can see that they scale to different stats at different levels, so we try to find the ones that scale best for level 20.

many slots dont have main stat enchants, so we go with secondary stat (versatility, crit, multistrike, haste). versatility is a consistent stat that gives a bit damage/healing + damage reduction, so it is preferable for tanks and anyone who doesnt want to think too much. crit and multistrike are based on rng. haste is only good if you have a lot of channelled spells or those with cast times. haste for only reducing global cooldown isnt really worth it

Snowjobs Hashbrowns

If I want to get the most auto-attacks, what MH/OH should I use as a WW?

Also, can Elemental Force multistrike ?

Not enough info given. We need to know your other gear and enchants.
Generally speaking it would be the weapon with the lowest swing time.

MS Enchants with haste in every piece of gear except for wrists/chest/feet/rings/1 trinket.

ele force can proc from ms and crit of course and the proc rate is affected by ur haste. however haste on a ww is quiet poor unless ur doing pve or something. more agi or ap will overide it very quickly.

Can EF's damage multistrike?

If by "glide down" you mean goblin glider then no, you can't use it while holding flag.
