PTR for the prepatch!

I understand people have been posting in various threads in regards to the prepatch being released on the PTR, but I thought I would create a thread to stress its importance.

I strongly advise that if you're computer is capable of downloading the ptr, you definitely do so. The actual expansion isn't what we f2ps are looking forward to, it's this prepatch that has just been released for testing. You don't need access to the WoD beta to test anymore, in regards to trial accounts, all of it is available currently on the ptr.

I've been testing classes on my own over the course of a few weeks on the beta, however having the option to test with numerous other people on the PTR will be much more effective in figuring out what's in store for the bracket.

Anyways, I advise you start logging onto "Brill(EU)" when character copies become available. To any of you that have copied your characters over in the past, they should already be there waiting for you!

Currently the PTR does not work on MACs

Location : Dal sewers? Feel free to log on and do your own thing for now, we'll probably set up times for when we want to test with multiple people

It would be nice if the F2Ps had a singular spot to meet up at. I know that there are people on both horde and alliance side, but I would like to see people running test with the various changes with their equals.

Also, really excited to test Demo lock changes

Dal sewers? Anyone could make a 90 mage and port people, as well as invite whomever they want.

You can copy your EU or US characters over to the PTR. During that process, you can choose whether you want your character to be situated on the provided EU or US servers. As stated in the OP though, the option to transfer characters is currently disabled. Only people that transferred their characters over in the past can get to testing right away.

Do we have the ability to create new characters?

I'll definitely set this up and great ready for testing. Throw the decided server/locale/location up in the first post in bold^

Character copy is down, and it's disconnecting often - lots of patience needed while they work the kinks out.

Anyone know how to reset character transfers, I transferred most of my trials in the past but with older gear and on another realm

Help plz :)
