PTR for the prepatch!

So far:

New models look retarded.
Stamina buffed alot. full p2p stamina enchanted 20 hunter outside bg got near 4k hp.
Atm night elfs got panda running animation.
New bow shot sound for hunters. okish.
Posthaste ticks 1 sec after landing on ground. dunno if intended or due to connection.
Hunter dmg got nerfed, not that much. still get 250dmg on autoshots sometimes.
Got dc and server down within 5min after longing in.

Shout out to Zehj.



Few More notes:
The only way to start game is via battle net app. hate it.
Toy and thus heirlooms only added to list if you logged char that has them.
So assuming you wont have access to it with frozen acc from ages back. unless u pay for game and log in first.

Remember that there is still many bugs to fix guis :)
And many mods haven't been completed yet

Skirmishes broken atm, BGs work half the time, the other half the server crashes. Many bugs. Ally bike in old town, 100kg, looks even worse than the real thing.

As stated before, bags and bank have a clean up function that will move everything over to free up your first bag slot. You can set presets on your bags so that specific types of items go to specific bags. Consumables, gear etc. The regeant bank tab costs 100g so we wont be able to get that unless they severely discount it.

Also... no idea why, but blizzard added a giant ass door to the pvp building in SW that you can swing open and shut... because reasons..

had the same problem, this worked for me

log in through this link https://eu.battle.net/login/en/?ref.../wow/services/ptr-select.html&app=bam&cr=true

choose your acc and then on the PTR Character Copy page click the History/Status tab, then log out of b.net

restart the PTR client through the b.net app and you should be able to log in

Haven't tested. For you guys that can't copy your characters over currently and are thinking about leveling one, make sure you lock your exp at at least lvl 20-24 so you get dumped into the exp off bracket. We only need 20 people to get a wsg going, and the ptr is free. Lets get some games going so we figure out whats coming down the pipeline.

Hey guys, many people have been asking how i got my pvp gear on the ptr, i see that the tauren that sell it are missing(same for raiding gear as well), and the conquest quartermasters require conquest points to buy it(we cant arena or skirmish atm)

So it leads my to this question....Would the Timeless artifacts be the next best thing to get rid of your sucky gear?



Also, i hear rumors of people going into draenor in the ptr as well..how do you get to it?
 
Some good news if no one has tried to test, but Weapon Enchants like Jade Spirit and Dancing Steel seem to have been thoroughly nerfed. no longer gives 62 Intellect or Agility/Strength. Right now on my level 9 warlock it gives.... a whopping 9 intellect. This should shorten the gap somewhat between 20-29's in the future...

Edit: The amount of Intellect given goes up by 1 per level for now.

Hoping if they decide to nerf 5.4 armor enchants, they don't Grandfather like the 12 agil to Parachute Cloak did way back then. A 9-level ability gap is Tolerable, but that combined with 5.4 + enchants might murder BGs, along with players with Grandfathered 29 gear/weapons.. :/

I found this in the 29er forum:

Enchants are mostly the same, with exception to proc enchants. Power Torrent procs for 29 int, Jade Spirit procs for 21, Dancing Steel procs for 26. I haven't tested others yet, but leave your questions here and I'll test it if I can.

Mongoose procs for same as on live, so does Crusader. Wotlk and TBC leg/shoulder enchants still scale for the same. Squish did not affect anything prior to Cata it seems.

Seems like wod will give us the worst state of our bracket since the beginning.

Just tested my 28 prot paladin twink.....yeah forget about prot warriors and vibro blades lol.

1400 -1500 avenger shield and harsh word crits with a crusader proc. Judgement is critting 970 ish without crusader. All holy damage, vibro blade not required.

I have 3.8 k hp (not stacking stamina)
455 attack power (wasn't wearing double link tunic, so missing 21 more AP)
256 bonus armor
21.41 % crit (I'm just missing the LFD necklace of the soldier)
455 spell power (can spam flash of light for days)

Hmm my 28 brewmaster has 5 k hp and kegsmash is critting for 2.5 k.

Oh no -.-
I have the feeling this will be 5.2 all over again, but instead of indestructable healers we have tanking machines.

SoO, Celestial bosses, or you can obtain pvp gear the old fashioned way

6.0.2 has locked all draenor content, including dungeons/pvp tied to it. PTR is for testing basic core game changes, stat squish/new stats/skill shuffle/ model clipping etc. Beta is testing all WoD content.
