While I DO NOT promote GY farming, and I agree with the aforementioned thesis of "How does GY farming help maintain your Prestigious image?" I feel that before we all start flaming Pizza and WT for this, let me give my two cents on the matter.
Yes, GY farming can be fun (we've all done it whether we feel bad about it or not), getting those extra kills each game toward your "Of the Horde/Alliance" can be enticing. That said, I personally believe that this is a slap in the face to the team being farmed, and shows a severe lack of respect. Now I have no problems with Pizza unlike most, I've played against him since back in cyclone battlegroup pre BC and I do admire what he has done with his guilds, striving for perfection. While him and his cronies GY farming is for sure bad for the promotion of the bracket, it also, when interpreted through the mindset of a person who, like Pizza, strives for perfection, one might see good in this.
If you are graveyard farmed by WT or anyone, there are two options;
1. Rage quit like a 5 year old girl
2. Rise above it, and strive to end it
People complain about there being no competition in the bracket, when the competition is right in front of you. If you want Pizza and WT to stop farming you, MAKE THEM STOP FARMING YOU. Strive for the same perfection they do. Play at their skill level, or even rise above their skill level. End their farming through force, NOT from flaming them on a public forum. Sadly the lack of competition in this bracket is caused by the overwhelming amount of people that choose option #1 (rage quitting).
Until someone grows the balls big enough to make Pizza and his buds stop farming, I say let them farm. If no one is making you stop, why stop? Why play at a lower skill level just to make sure people in this bracket to cry on TI that they aren't having fun because Pizza won't let them leave the gy? Pizza and his guild, in my eyes, have earned the right. Years of perfecting not only his twink, but his guild, his strategy, and his playstyle has left him in this position. If someone has the balls enough to end it then let's see it.

lol. i was talking to Das about this earlier and the funny thing is that i used the same analogy. the only problem is that irl when u kill someone, they stay dead forever. in wow, if u beat them (or kill them), they afk and come back in 15 min when their deserter wears off.
Ya, its possible to beat them. But they, holding a great portion of the best/most active players in the bracket, require some very active/good players to beat them. That being said, im working on getting mine together. For me personally, i dont really care if they farm. I just fuck around in the bg or get on my 85 no matter how much they farm, im not gonna leave the 19 bracket.
Its just that ur average, casual twink, i.e. people who make 19 pugs possible, don't have the skill, time, nor motivation to want to "strive to perfection" they just want to get on, play WSG, and ultimately have fun. When they get a WSG pop and end up getting farmed, they don't have fun. Now, it would be one thing if they got farmed 1 match, no big deal. But when they get farmed game after game after game, why would they ever want to play 19s again? The bracket is already broken to begin with, we're lucky they even know about the bracket and are enthused enough to make a twink in the first place, let alone get farmed game after game,
all day long. These people are putting up with ur bullshit day in and day out just to keep 19s alive, and ur spitting in their faces.
The 70 bracket has it all at this point. Arenas, balance (relative to 19s), more BGs, easier gear, raids, more players, arena rating, more spells, etc. 19s has what? WSG, horrible class balance, and WT farming 5-7 hours a day on weekends. Wow. Had i not had so much history with this bracket i would have left a long time ago. Put urself in the place of any new player in the 19 bracket. "Wow, this is cool, I was really good at xp on BGs and just realized I can turn my xp off. This will be fun!" *walks outside, gets 2 shot, gets farmed for 15 min, afks out, never returns*
And thats not just saying that all of them are noobs either. A lot of people return to 19s everyday to see how it is nowadays. If they have fun, they'll stay. If they dont, they'll leave and never come back.
Why would they waste their time getting farmed when they could play their 85 and actually have a chance?
Its not about whining like little bitches, its about making this shitty broken bracket less shitty. Blizzard is enough trouble, we dont need our own flesh and blood turning on us. If ur gonna premade, at least dont farm. Have a picnic or something. Be nice. Welcome people to the bracket. Nurture competition in its earliest stages.
If they actually wanted competition, they should try helping people get to a competitive state rather than crushing them repeatedly until they leave the bracket. They could even try moving to new guilds and help them become competitive or start their own, new guild. Or would the possibility of losing and the challenge be too much for them? Ask Silin, the old leader of BR who left to join WT because he didn't have the balls to lead the guild back to its past glory and actually beat them. If ya cant beat em join em I guess. I'm sure there are plenty others just like him.
This isn't about WT in particular either. LS, LSS, TC, whoeverthefuckelse, stop it. This is about farming in general. Ditch ur egos and lets help the bracket for a bit.
