You said in multiple posts that there's already Private Servers out there that people can join. I told you twice that the entire point for creating a Twink Private Server was to fund the Twink Cup Prizepool with all the money the server would be making. Yet after telling you this TWICE you made another post about how you don't understand why people don't just play on other servers.
Nothing was really proven wrong, that was just poor wording from my part. You just dismissed the entire point of the thread even tho' you were told twice what the entire point was about. That's arrogance, stupidity and ignorance.

I like the idea of "profiting from the server, to then throw money for the Twink Cup", but it is an idea. Who knows if people will actually buy a tabard, or a mount, or whatever. I have never been in a private server myself, but just the risk of it being shut down, kept passive etc. makes me not want to invest much into it. And that is what most private servers have done to my knowledge, they have given you instant gearing, for different specializations, allowing you to receive any item you want anytime you please.
This means, hey - you don't have to try and farm gear because yo - its a private server, just have fun whilst PvPing. Which is what most people will lean towards, and that's the reason most of Live's players tend to go to those servers, so that they can just experience something that is not present and past, to re-live it again.
On the other hand, this is something illegal. You can earn money through it (if all goes as planned), and then fund it to the Twink Cup. But all in all, this may ruin the reputation of Twinking in general, because the cup itself holds a name that characterizes most of us, players here.
That is just my opinion on the matter.

It'd prob ruin the reputation of Twinking in Blizzards eyes, but we have no reason to care what Blizzard thinks of us.
People will buy shit, there's a reason why Hamcakeland could sustain for 2-3 years with just tabards, riding turtles and such.

Okay, i agree with the idea of Tabards and Turtles, then. But i just don't agree with "It'd prob ruin the reputation of Twinking in Blizzards eyes, but we have no reason to care what Blizzard thinks of us." because all in all, this tournament is managed by people that are willing to take this project to a professional level, and this year they made a good example of it, posting an entire thread in a very professional way and so on. Dabbling into Illegal stuff would be a step back in a way, which is why i think the GG19 and Twink Cup organizers may not come to an agreement with this.
