    • Here is a list of the items that are noteworthy in the prepatch event. This is assuming you don't care about the majority of the catch up gear off the rares, which are all not unique appearances. I haven't seen this information compiled as such on any site, put this together myself.

    Looks like most items give the other factions' appearances.

    Not sure why, probably bugged, but you have to favorite the appearance, or even delete the item to get the opposite appearance to trigger, even with no 2 hour trade timer and a relog. The transmog adding timer is still 2 hours of /played, with the buyback timer being irl time as of 9.0, is likely the issue here.

    if you buy any of these to try this, please let me know so i can edit this.

    shit, the plate helm would have been amazing for arms warriors at 20, but blizz HAD to make this for 50
     
    I'll bet money I know why Blizz made this Event Level 50's only after nearly ALL of the original Blizzard Devs jumped ship...

    got everything on horde so far, plus alliance cloth

    transfering a warrior ally for the plate set. i really want that leather class cloak but i dont want to faction 2 toons cause then ill end up doing the 3rd for mail lol

    Personally IDGAF about iLvL 100 gear at 10 or 30 or even 49. I just want to do the Event itself on my lower Level Twinks. Blizz literally has the scaling tech to allow any Gear drops to scale down to our Levels, they're just refusing or too lazy to use it.
     
    Well.... given how badly they f*cked up every other attempt at scaling without items slipping thru the cracks...

    ...perhaps they just accepted they are too incompetent to do so this time. Not exactly lazy, but close.
     
    If anybody's really curious about the Abomination Jar and have yet to loot one / end up missing, according to wowhead it's literally the same proc as the original from ICC. It even shares the same unique stamp under the original's name lol

    I bought some of them on the side that they are unique on, so I am unsure if these appearances are given when going the other way around

    You are being smoothe brain level of naive if you can't comprehend people on a TWINK forum being at least mildly upset over stuff like this. It's not like people are asking to take part in mythic raids so to suggest MILD annoyance over stuff like this means they need a new game is dumb as hell
