EU+US Patch didn’t effect 110 “twinks”

So in the title I have “twinks” quoted. There has been a lot of talk prior to patch boo hooing that their 110/111 DH “twink” on BFA account wont be able to sell runs anymore.

Sorry to break it to you, you were never a twink to begin with. You can’t battleground. A twink can be played in many ways, but when did we start mixing the use of geared characters to make gold into twinking? Legion.

It’s been mentioned in this section probably a dozen times, months before this patch that you can transfer your 110 onto legion accounts and pvp as normal. Your greed kept you on BFA, and now your gunna have to make a choice.

But back into topic of title, those real twinks that have been xfering to legion accounts, you know who you are. Pat yourselves on the back. We are still alive

Yes, it’s been like this since the xpack dropped. You theoretically could have never gotten BFA, and been BGing since launch. People just use BFA to get their IL 300 azerite, then xfer to legion

can't lvl past 110 but you didn't turn your xpoff off so technically its still on

Thats what it says in the support pages - but it doesn't actually stop you.

fwiw, youll need a BFA account if you plan on transferring allied races. found that out the hard way.

Yea, I was a bit optimistic that you only needed BFA to unlock them but that they could be played on any account after that

Yes @Faerondil. Get your necklace up pass 40+ I say. Get all 300 azerite pieces you need.

there is an actual “path” to get the azerite traits you want on ilevel 300 gear. ive been hoping someone would make a walkthrough for each zone but the basic idea is do the storyline quests in each zone. once you progress far enough or get past a certain quest the azerite gear goes from 285 to 300. scroll quest is always a 300 helm but you’ll need to have someone over 110 share the quest with you. then either speed run islands or randoms as heals/tank to level your neck

I'm really into making a lvl 110 twink now. Just a quick question guys, please:
Is there any way, to make the rare mob azerite drops i295 drops by default? Or at 110 you are left with 280 ones, regardless if you do all the story quests to end up with 3x i295 pieces.

At 110 you only get 4 pieces of ilvl 295/300 gear. You have the sea scrolls quest for the helm, and then 3/7 of the azerite pieces from quests. Unless theres something new with the new islands (pretty sure all gear there is gated to 120) - you're limited to that.

The rares, the first 4/7 azerite quests, dungeon drops, and your initial heart of azeroth piece are all ilvl 280. Its good to keep them in the bank in case traits get changed and you need a trait more than the stats from the ilvl difference.

ive tried twice now to have it shared on horde since ive faction changed. the person sharing it gets a message saying ive already completed it.
