Official Epic Upgrade Bragging Thread (Warning: Jealousy/Salt)

With the new Ilvl changes to bg boxes. The value of epics has gone down hill.

i got the foamspittle staff like 2 weeks ago and it seems that MH and OH weapons (ilvl 31) with enchants would be better than the staff.

that one i'm gonna go out on a whim and say no

I would love nothing more than to drop this staff, but I think its one of the few epics that wont be replaced.

granted, I haven't done ANY number crunching to compare the weps and foamspittle yet, so I could be wrong, but I don't even think having 2 blue adaptables would be up to par with foamspittle.

you are right though, some epic prices will most likely drop in price quite a bit. Silvermoon chest pieces specifically I can see dropping a lot.

if I did my math correctly, foam still wins. Higher vers and more stam.
 
Yes Othi - A healer with a brain (Shaman/Monk/Druid/Paladin/Priest) +4 intellect weighs more than +4 vers.... I would take the intellect over verse as it gets scaled down in BGs as Intellect scales up and we all know +1 Stam is only 10HP.

So Chops and Ohti, stop lying to the ppl as choosing 1 over the other is personal pref - because both are BiS now :)

blue adaptable MH/OH = 37 int, 12 stamina, 12 secondaries(vers)

epic foamspittle = 37 int, 13 stamina(+1), 16 secondaries(+4)(vers)

plus you arent going to be getting MH/OH blue adaptable combo anytime soon.

You forgot to mention:
blue adaptable MH/OH = 37 int, 12 stamina, 12 secondaries(vers) w/ enchants +9 spell power and +4 intellect on weapons will make it more desirable for intellect heavy players :) In addition - A warlock may like the 1 MH/OH due to the MH/OH having crit stats (Destruction).

I am just saying that there is truly no need for people to grind for a foam and kill themselves as the foam is not the only BiS in the spell caster market :)

Lets be real now - I know the ppl that are disagreeing are the ppl that have wasted countless hours for the foam to only have blizzard give pure f2p players a equal playing field for spell casting weps.

I've spent way more time in BGs than I ever did grinding foam (which I can also buy on the ah) and I still don't have double adaptable MH/oh

The 4 int advantage doesn't truly matter. Not when we heal as hard as we do. Nobody is dying because our heals aren't big enough. They die because I die. A little more survivability goes a lot farther than a couple extra points on a rejuv tic. Especially at the edge of gearing.
 
I agree with what you are saying and it is not wrong - However, for you to not acknowledge my point that it literally a personal pref as one is not truly better than another is up to you lol.

Foam/ Adaptable BG MH/OH is interchangeable especially for damage dealing casters lol. Just admit that my point of view is right as well. lol which we all know is chops.

I have farmed the foam and have both adaptable BG MH/OH and in my experience I got the MH/OH faster than the foam. lol

Just let the people know that both are BiS - as people say - numbers don't lie (Stats).
 
And my foam took me over 150 hours. Ive gotton two Adaptable items in 2 BGs crates in my first 2 Random BGs :)

My RNG is the same as your RNG :)
