US Official 19 TC Jumps

The video is to be used as a guide for players who are unfamiliar with certain jumps in warsong, more jumps than are in the video are allowed.

After a discussion with the rules committee we have come to a consensus. Both fences, both ToTs, and both GYs can be accessed in any way you wish, whether this be a jump, or a race / class specific ability, as long as no clear glitching occurs it is okay. (walljumping / wallclimbing is not considered glitching).

THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS ARE THE NEW GY FENCES, ANY JUMP INVOLVING THEM IS OUTLAWED.

Using class abilities, goblin jump, toys, or anything else to take you somewhere that you can only get to using these abilities is not allowed.

The reason we have decided to allow this is because you can get to these areas in other ways besides jumping, it simply rewards the players who have taken the time and effort to learn the jumps, and if you fail to execute a jump properly you are put at a disadvantage.

where are the "banned" jumps? i was under the impression the whole point of you making this video was to show what cannot be done in twink cup games

That is the point of the video. Any jump not included in the video is banned.

The point was to show what was ALLOWED in the twink cup games.

This also helps out people from a higher level (where jumps aren't common) familiarize themselves with them.

Hope that makes sense.

I feel iffy about ground to ToT jumps of both sides of the map.

No no no. If you're going to take the time to make a jumps you can do, you need to take the time to do the jumps you cannot do so there is absolutely no grey area - just black and white.

By presenting one he is logically presenting both, it is very clear. You cannot do a jump in the twinkcup if it is not in this video. There's no gray area.

On the other hand if someone has suggestions, there is nothing stopping them from posting a video of a specific jump, with the reasoning why they think that specific jump should be allowed.

Logically. Logically.. let's just all assume that everyone in the twink community thinks logically.

It wouldn't be a horrible idea. Yet not entirely necessary, the people who are participating in the Twinkcup should be able to figure such a thing out.

There's a lot of jumps not included here, like grave yard jumps, light post jumps, log jumps, and there are probably more too that should be allowed in the Twink Cup.

basically this.

the majority of this video should have been jumps that are banned for example the horde base one that everyone bitched and moaned about that is the reason we have this rule and alliance hut thing

probably would have been better to make a "banned jumps" and a "not banned jumps" video if thats what you were trying to do. this was explained to me as a video showing what was not okay to do then some jumps that were ok

All that does is introduce grey area. If someone does a jump that's not in either videos, then what happens? With this video it's simple. There is no grey area, and if you do any jumps that aren't in the video you are breaking the rules. It's a really simple concept and how you struggle to grasp it is baffling.

If the jumps shown in this video that are allowed are the "black area", then all of the jumps that are not shown in the video are the white area; jumps that aren't allowed. There is only black and white.

If there are two videos, one for allowed jumps and another for jumps that aren't allowed, you have black and white, but any jumps not shown in either video would be in the grey area. By having that second video showing jumps that aren't allowed, you are introducing a grey area consisting of any jumps that aren't in either video.

Pretty much this. In addition, I don't think the people demanding a second video are taking into consideration the time spent by the OP recording the footage and then editing and putting everything together, then uploading it to youtube. People participating in the Twink Cup like (Hass) have done absolutely nothing to contribute to the tournament yet come into every thread regarding the Twink Cup bitching and complaining about everything that people putting effort into the Twink Cup have done.

Are you not aware that the actual horde tunnel jump still works? Although it is much harder to do then it once was, you should update it to include that jump as it is very possible you may see it in the cup.

To clarify, it's where you jump onto the tunnel from the right side and jump once again to get up on top.

From the sound of it, you may see the jump you refer to...

right before a disqualification.
