I think the time when TI existed for forum purposes, and Ink + Drayner were starting up tinkering.net with blog posts daily, videos, ptr leaks etc... that was a pretty optimal point where we had two separate websites serving two separate functions. Bisnation forums tried to be the FFA 19s section which tanked.
Im sure none of you were really around, but TI was the new version of PWNDepot... The reason why TI drove it into the ground was because TI had an extremely passionate admin whom was blogging daily and providing the community with CONTENT that the previous site was lacking. After Drayner's time and after drunkhut stopped making LFH videos, the site had admins whom weren't particularly involved in providing CONTENT to the site and expecting the content to come from the website users instead.
I strongly suggest xpoff continues the trajectory in delivering a larger experience than strictly forums. One function I tried to implement in tinkering.net and also TI was having the streams link page where it would show if someone is live or not and would provide their stream. I know it's more advanced and I don't expect Myrm to be able to do that, but having things like that / real time chat box / nearly most importantly, a tink ranking page****** keeps people on the site, keeps the community going.
I doubt any of you were around for this, but back in the day we had a website that was updated in realtime and an add-on ingame. The functionality of it is still practice and it's still something I WANT to see return as I KNOW it will be a beloved feature to the community. I've never been an addon developer but providing this suggestion may spark a few trains to make it happen. I remember it used to report at the end of every game in BG chat "This game has been recorded and its results along with individual rankings can be found at *******.com"
Long story short, as long as ONE player from a PUG has this developed addon, it will factor in many things to create tink scores. This takes into account joining games that are already in progress as well. It ranks people basked on their returns, kbs, deaths, healing, returns, caps, hks etc and through a very fair weighted system it created a single tink ranking score and it's being updated. This was half of the reason why some of us NEVER changed our tinks names from back in the day and why some fairies would change their character name to start out with a fresh score if their ratios or score averages dropped too much. This is a suggestion I've made to TI for years and it was never pursued. Hopefully my suggestion to this site will be considered. I've been very busy IRL so I'm not sure if something adequate enough exists yet, if so that's awesome. I haven't really looked around too much on this site either yet.
TLDR if this site adds some features, it will guarantee the putting of TI into the ground and this will become the only source for tink information and resources. TI may always somewhat linger due to the f2p bracket that's been keeping that site going for the past several years.

I was around when Drayner ran TI. Personally that was the peak fo TI, but it has changed so much since, so much that it would never be the same, and there is no need for it to be the same imo. Imo TI (and now XPoff.com) has changed from wowhead-like website just for tink stuff, to our community platform. It is what holds us together, and enables us to communicate and share thoughts and ideas across continents. XPoff.com seems to understand this, and they have created this platform that is an enhanced version of TI; the stream, calender and media feature will for sure spark interest in those considering starting to twink, and it will keep us veterans tied together.I think the time when TI existed for forum purposes, and Ink + Drayner were starting up tinkering.net with blog posts daily, videos, ptr leaks etc... that was a pretty optimal point where we had two separate websites serving two separate functions. The chat box is there already tho?a real time chat box would be really nice. ( a slim / small one, preferably the same size as the livestreams/newprofileposts tabs on the front page )
edit: the ability to see how many people are viewing a thread and who's viewing it
