You don't need 100 ranks. People should not stay on forums for ranks, they should stay for the community/talk...etc.

That's not why I suggested this idea. Creating another rank will not keep people from coming or going. It is just to show seniority in a better way. I don't see how this can be negative in any way. In my mind it can only make some people a tiny bit happier.

Why not reward those have been a dedicated TI member since the start or close to the start? I just received the rank 'Veteran' and when I did get the rank, a little piece inside of me was happy. It showed how long I've been apart of the community. I could reflect back to my noob days here, and how I have grown with community. Ranks like this also show players that started around the same time as me.

i have already aired the best idea regarding veteran ranks

players that've been a member of TI for 70% of its existence will receive a veteran rank. how it is today does the exact opposite: you gain absolutely nothing from, as seen in relation to the site's existence, being a long time member; for each year that passes more and more people will receive the vet rank making it completely worthless - like today's vet/elder ranks

tl;dr stupid stupid stupid
