At this point we just don't know. Wowhead has removed many of the items that were listed and also removed the Scaling Slider from all the Fel-Touched gear. I've been trying to participate in the Invasions on PTR myself but the only time I have to do them is 2-4 am CST and for some reason they seem to always be bugged or not working at all, same with BG's.
A few weeks ago more than one Player received a Weapon from the Large crate that did in fact scale to their Level and was usable, so I'd like to hope that this is still the case. It's also worth noting that when the scaling Slider was available for Fel-Touched gear one of the 2 Secondary Stats would disappear below a certain Level. Knowing our luck, the Mastery would end up sticking around for 10's but not the Versa, giving us NO Secondary Stat since Mastery doesn't effect 10's.

Well I am very disappointed. It appears Blizzard is removing Che'f Hat come Legion. It would have given me an extra +10 Versatility, which is understandingly too OP. However I feel like the Hat did not deserved to get removed completely, given the grind to get it is so long and tedious.

I did the invasion event on the PTR on my 10, and got the following from the Large Chest:

I don't even know what to make of that. Equipping it really did give me 22 more int. I didn't do the math to see proportionally what the other weapons might be, but if they scale like this one, that's gonna be interesting.

Updated the OP to reflect Blizz's launch of the Invasion on August 9th. To make it easier on yourself, make sure to spread out the twinks you want to get gear for in each of the 6 Zones that will be invaded because every other Invasion in the same Zone (every 2 hrs) locks out the same Character from receiving the Loot Chest.

Im pumped. I mean the sets are merely recolored of the crafted warlord pieces though, but shoot better than nothing. And having a helm slot filled will be nice I hated trying to get that damn hat.

As of Beta from about a week ago (not me) the same Twink, Sponsy for example, can only get the Chest drop from every other Invasion in the same Zone. That means if you want loot every 2 hours you either have to swap to a different Character every other Invasion or change to a different Invasion Zone. I cannot verify that even changing zones works but I know that, at least on Beta, the same Zone with back to back Invasions didn't give loot on the same Character.

I would suggest setting up your Twinks with either the Flightpaths to the Zones you want to participate in or station them next to a main City FP tonight before Servers shut down. That will save you a little time once the Invasion hits tomorrow. As I reminder, there are 2 FoS for completing your First Invasion (all 4 Stages) and all 6 Zone Invasions. With multiple Twinks stationed at the ready it'll be more efficient to get Chests every 2 hrs by swapping Characters every other Invasion. Happy Demon Hunting!!

Holy shit I fucking DESTROY the Invasion NPC's on my Level 10 Twinks!!. I solo'd the stage 3 Elite Boss with 15K Health without even blinking. Also I can confirm you DO get the Large Chest at 10 (Stage 4) as well as Nethershard (Currency Tab, 2000 cap) as I received 40 for that Invasion (showed up right before stage 3 started). The Shoulders I got kind of looked like HFC Normal Gear so that's pretty cool for Transmog purposes. Here's so proof:

That sucks, I got 2 pcs of Gear and the Coelesced Fel from ONE Large Chest and only 1 item from the other Large Chest... Come to think of it, I don't think I got any Gear from the Small Chest, only the Large one (Stage 4)
