It has been deemed a consumable. That is a no no. I have been told by some on this site that twinking is not about min/maxing your character. It is about playing by guidelines set by a few people. And that some of these people can't be bothered to either farm or carry consumables in their bags. I am also told you are "crutching" if you use any type of consumable.
It is therefore BAD to use consumables, as deemed by these vocal few people... Not by all, just a few...

Yeah unfortunately the absolute fact is, some folks are too game poor to bother to farm for the buffs and now cry foul when anyone uses them. Twinking is 100% and will always be 100% about getting your Character BiS, Best "Look", most Achievements, most Kills, Best RP factor, etc. Anyone who is too stupid to use consumables to make themselves the absolute best they can is fail, anyone who is too poor to go farm the mats for said consumables shouldn't be Twinking to begin with. **** I've probably spent half a Million Gold on my Twinks, not to mention actual real life Cash over the years. I still remember farming Blood Thistle for the +10 SP.

TL;DR: Better is better, not using better = fail. But then again we have to adhere to the lowest common denominator to keep society running these days, if 1 person refuses to farm for Consumables then nobody gets to use them >.<
 
the reason why people frown upon items such as felmouth frenzy and speed pots is they are UNUSABLE in wargames, so using these items to crutch in PUGS teaches you incorrect habits, obviously it cannot be enforced, but those who take 19 twinkiing on a serious "premade" level understand how these items can be detrimental in a players growth, its simple really, and not a knock on players who enjoy using these items.

Being level 19 is better than being level 10 in 2015 WoW, no? Seems weird that you'd want to maximize everything except your level and available spells.

Ah because you automatically assume I Twink 10's for PvP. Look up my HK's on even my main 10 Twink Gringötts and next time try harder.

I've seen you support level 10s in pvp in other threads. Not sure why you're getting so defensive.

Besides, my post wasn't limited to you specifically. Any 10 twinkers that subscribe to this max-everything-except-your-level mentality.
