From crit chance to crit rating. What's that?

Crit rating scales with level so this is a good thing for us twinks. The lower level, the higher crit chance from the naxx enchants.

Lvl 19 = 4.73% crit chance
Lvl 29 = 2.47% crit chance
Lvl 39 = 1.68% crit chance
Lvl 49 = 1.27% crit chance

I did the math. The shoulder enchant is 1.31% crit at level 49 after the crit rating change btw.

So assuming blizz will roll out WOTLK in the future, will the BoA shoulders be BiS for most classes? I apologize if this has been answered previously. I’m just getting nervous that I won’t have enough gold to get a couple of these enchants by the time BC comes. I’m mucho pooro lol

Yes, but a patch later in WotLK also killed twinking. An early wotlk patch gave the option to turn xp off and gave xp for bgs if you didn't turn it off, but a later one split xp off and xp on players into two different queues so you never ran into each other. Queue times became absolutely ridiculous.

Heirlooms will be BiS in WotLK. Leg armor and naxx enchants gets disabled in patch 3.1 and Blizzard keeps using the database for the last patch of their Classic expansion, so it will most likely be disabled directly once WotLK Classic releases.

Would recommend you to get naxx enchants right now in vanilla. If you don't have the gold then either use mining/herb professions to farm gold.

Haven't seen anyone use that enchant on a priest yet, but the crit is indeed nice. Thing is I don't think priest has an issue with the healing output and needs more crit for https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=2054/heal - but more has an issue with containing their mana. So I think the mana regen enchant is more worth for a priest and it's way cheaper
