@ ego, the difference is armor? my character is named "purplechron" so.. i'll keep the dalaran hat for stylepoints :p

@ArthurianKnight: you're right, keen machete was the best, but since BoAs came out they're OP. and yes i bought my first spell (stealth!!).

and yes its a shame ruby shades are gone

The +8 agi now requires level 50 =(. but you can't deny the cool points of a level 1 in Ruby Shades =).



Edit: the shades you see in my avatar pic to the left had a working +8 spell power before the nerf.

i farmed the harpy's outside TB, got it to drop after an hour. They don't look all that great tbh, better to just look for a pair of black gloves.

I guess you haven't noticed that the one with 8 agi on is soulbound:p? I have 3x Violet Hat with 8agi, 10 haste and 100hp on..soulbound on a lvl one:)

Arcane Forged Shortsword was better of if you used lifestealing, fiery or crusader, the Keen Machete had the highest dps meele wise, but the shortsword was better for proccs.



Which BoA is the best today? I would say the one with the CoH:)

And btw, Ruby Shades aint gone, they're just rarer due to it is not sold from Haris Pilton anymore. You have to find somebody like moi which still has it.
 
Woah when were the shades removed? This is news to me.
 
BTW, they go for tons in the AH.
 
I really think the shades are hard to sell, since it's not the best lvl 1 hat, I guess some RPers would want it though. But still I think it's really hard to sell the shades.

Bumping this bad boy due to the new no XP thing, any thoughts on what the best items will be now? Especially with reguards to bracer, gloves and feet. I doubt there would be greens available at lvl 1. Granted one of the best quest upgrades will be duel AGMs.
 
I can't come up with any rewards from lvl 1 quests that gives more armor than the vendor/drop ones. Only some weapon prolly, but we got BoAs now.



So I think it's only the AGM which will be the new thing and possibly fishing hat if that guy who said over at the guild website for tiwnkinfo that it was lvl 1 in next patch. He didn't reply saying he had a source though.

for old skooling and since there are no BoA axes (cry) and swap out feet and bracer with other items which gives as much armor as the ones I have (believe there are no better wrists and feet than vendor ones) just for a difference.
