EU+US Mvq - High Level of FC'ing #1

Just letting folks know you can critique game play however doing it in a toxic fashion especially towards someone who is unable to respond is not okay.

Conq, you know I hate you, but don't you think your anti-cop/anti-government stance is a bit ironic, given how much of an overzealous admin you are?

Or is it somebody else who's on a rampage? In that case, joke's on me.

whys is @Arkte liking a post that is clearly mocking another forum member
Didn't know if only I caught this... decided to log on just to like and comment.

10-15 people get banned within a 2 day timeframe for things as little as asking if someone's high, comparing xpoff to strath, and numerous completely trivial things but that post gets a like...

No consistency at all and where the judge jury and executioner is an administrator hitting the ban button, consistency is NEEDED.

You are not privy to the reasons behind any of the bans and and clearly have a misunderstanding of the reasoning, at the moment you are spreading misinformation by stating false reasons.

I'm just noticing a very high influx of bans within a 24 hour timeframe. Only going off of posts I've seen a banned person make recently.

If my assumptions are wrong about the reasoning the rest of my post still holds true.

Also I'm pretty sure arkte liked that post way before any of the new rules were put in place, this isn't retroactive, I could be mistaken

The liked post was at 5pm on Tue. Arkte made the "announcement" thread at 9pm on Tue. I'm sure he had in his head the idea of what changes were going to be made further than 4 hours out. It seemed like he put alot of thought and time into his announcement.

I could argue his like isn't leading by example very well. I could argue he should have started enforcing his own rules on himself before he starts with others. This would all be dumb though as it's just a simple post with a smartass remark that probably made arkte laugh so he liked it.

The point I will argue is back to consistency. If one smartass post is accepted and "liked" and another isn't and is met with a ban the banned person will probably feel pretty confused/upset. I'm sure that's exactly how some of the newly banned members are feeling right now

Alot of offending posts get deleted, that's why you might not see the actual reason for the bans.

In any case, please do not derail this thread any further. If you have any more concerns, please create a thread in the appropiate section. Website Feedback'd do.
