F2P MoP F2P Hunter Guide

dude thanks! owning shit up xD

Panda:
The panda race is new to MoP and is available to BOTH factions. Pandas come with a couple helpful racials worth thinking about while choosing which race to play

Quaking Palm: incapacitating for 4 seconds. Damage cancels effect. MELEE RANGE
Bouncy: 50% reduce from falling damage
Gourmand: Allows buying of Skewered Peanut Chicken
Epicurean: Doubles well fed buffs
Crane: this is not technically a racial but Pandas are the only race with access to this pet

Ok, I have read it in many places on this forum. Please tell me how a panda is supposed to buy this recipe, because I could only find pandaria NPCs who sell it

we really dont need guides for f2p hunters anymore, you just play a few wsg games {about100+} and you just pick up on the class.

No offense but I completely beg to differ.. I can clearly tell when someone says they loved the guide if they actually read our guide and learned about things about the class or who just read it as "how to faceroll". Still a clear gap between skilled hunts and the avg hunt, although it was definitely brought closer together in 5.3 it is still noticeably there.

Please feel free to make your own guide about your personal knowledge and experience and compare it to see if we really don't need guides or if our guide hasn't helped or increase ur hunterin at all :)

Nah, I pass the offer.

I demand a video on Disengage tricks be made! That's really the only reason why I play a hunter is just to fly around!

Make a nelf so you can bg with me instead of against me ;) For my playstyle goblin is the best race there is. I'd say goblin>troll>nelf>dwarf. If you're into looks though I'd say one of the few races trolls look better then would be a goblin lol.

Assuming you mean jumps? Next time I see you in a bg I can try showing you if you stop gy farming me long enough. I've gotten most of the important/game changing ones down but still need to work on a few tougher ones with the gnomer chute

Here are some edits that I made to the macros you have listed here:

(French)
#showtooltip
/stopcasting
/stopcasting
/cast Désengagement
/cast [nomod] trait de choc; [mod] flèche de dispersion

(English)
#showtooltip
/stopcasting
/stopcasting
/cast Disengage
/cast [nomod] Concussive Shot; [mod] Scatter Shot

The goal here is to be able to disengage in the middle of an aimed shot or ...sure shot? the one that generates focus. Stopcasting is in the macro twice because hunter spells operate differently than other classes', and so only one /stopcasting will not work.

(French)
#showtooltip

(English)
/cast [@pet,dead] Revive Pet;[nopet, mod] Revive Pet; [nopet, button:2] Call pet 1; [nopet, button:1] call pet 2; [pet, mod] dismiss pet; [button:2] mend pet; mend pet

In the macro you listed, you'll have to open up your spellbook to cast Revive Pet if you are interrupted while casting it (thus removing your pet from an active frame), or if you instance out with a dead pet, or if you die with a dismissed pet. This macro adds in a [nopet, mod] Revive Pet line so that you always have access to Revive Pet.

A piece of random advice: healing potions can be farmed from the Stockades. The first hallway is soloable and can yield anywhere from 2-10 potions in a single go. This has the most bearing, I think, on whether or not you choose to roll a goblin for their access to the healing potion recipe.

Hey guys, i gotta say, this is an absolutely amazing guide, i love it and it has helped me with hunter so much, would you guys be alright if i were to use some of it in my mass compilation guide? i think it would be great to have one guide with all of the classes in it and i could use some help

Haven't tested the 'anti-stealth' macro in a BG, so maybe I'm speaking out of turn... but in PvE it successfully clears the current target and targets the closest enemy, but the /petattack doesn't work (it says 'you have no target'). Any suggestions?

Code:
/cleartarget
/targetenemyplayer
/petattack
/cast Hunter's Mark
/startattack
/petassist
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
