Nice! Would be interesting to see which dungeons are faster with a one shot and which one is faster with DH skip

I compared our times running to the boss and we both arrived after around 40sec, so the DH skip doesn't save too much time tbh

Ehh true, I think I get to him in like 43 seconds and you get to him in around 45. My main bottleneck is gear cuz I don't have a BiS Speed Set or a BiS DPS set. And even if I did, wouldn't be able to get a few of the GFed enchants on them. I think in a true head-to-head DH would definitely win tho
 
Here's a 3:46/3:47 Deadmines Run (Solo, Glitched, Skip, 20s). Nothing super impressive, as the run is close to Shiekrunner's deadmines run, except he has the consumables to almost hit the ship. A tip for future runners is that you want to aim for the rocky alcove/cave once you glitch through the wall and that should take you into the tunnel before the last boss. Also, you DO NOT want to aggro the first boss (Glubtok) or else he will teleport you to him.


And here's a 5:35 Zul'Farrak run (Solo, Skip, 20s), using an original skip by me. Zul'farrak is a very RNG-heavy dungeons. Mobs have an ability to dismount you, but it's cast randomly, so sometimes they will dismount you and sometimes they won't. Mobs themselves are random as well, and the less Shadowhunters you get the better, because each Shadowhunter is another 5 second Hex-stun that doesn't break on damage. ALSO, it is important to note that ever since they got rid of the Executioner's Key, you do not have to kill the executioner prior to opening the cages, so theoretically you can open the cage, pull the executioner into the crowd and nuke them all down. Should be priority to focus down Shadowhunters (5s stun), Basilisks (2s stun), and finish off low HP mobs before they get a chance to stray pull.

I used the the Movement Speed addon.

Here's a 1:32 Razorfen Kraul (Solo, Skip, Glitch, 20s) using a semi-original skip, but it doesn't really save much time and isn't very useful on other classes because the Seesaw is necessary later on in the run.


Here's a 2:04 Bloodmaul Slag Mines (Solo, Skip, 20s). Again, using Shiekrunners technique, I pull the boss into the furnace to LoS some of the mobs and just to avoid having to deal with the other adds.


And here's a 1:39 Scarlet Halls (Solo, Skip, Glitch, 20s). This is where we're breaking ground, though I could have sworn I've seen this done else where. Thanks to the macro posted by @Azeroh (post), I was able to Fel Rush cancel mid air and get stuck high enough to Vengeful Retreat into the last boss room. This is a massive improvement over Shiekrunner's method because you don't have to meander through the armory, and will half his time if done on a max level


Thanks for the consumables suggestions! Everything is seems to count even more as we get closer and closer to optimal speedrun times
 
@Dragpz interesting find while Enhancing the footage of the RFK run. As always you started at 1 second cause the timer likes to do that. However this is the first time I've seen the time go backwards. you downed the boss at 1:33 and the timer went back to 1:32.

Concern im having is do I sub 1 second for starting at 1 second or do I not since it looks like the timer did so...

Yeah, I kinda noticed that too, I'm using Kethoinstancetimer and it seems kinda wonky sometimes, like I had to manually stop the Scarlet Halls run and Bloodmaul run, so idk. Im happy with 1:32 tho
 
Yeah I marked the RFK down as a 1:32. Ketho does seem to be that way... It consistently ends the loading screen with 1 second already ticked away. Now it seems to be able to jump around even at the end.

I marked the Scarlet run at 1:38 and the Slag Mines at 2:03 both for timer starting at 1 second.

dont know if theres a specific function thats called when the final boss is killed (might have to set up an autosplitter for every dungeon individually :NotLikeThis:) I'm just putting the idea out there so someone crazy enough would try to do this
 
What is considered the end boss in BRD Detention Black? Some say it’s High Interrogator Gerstahn while others say it’s Fineous Darvire.

Would be good with with the names of all the “end bosses” in the dungs that are split up, like Blackrock Depths, Dire Maul, Maraudon so there is no confusion there.

I will work on this tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, that video is great I'm alot more mindful of my gliding now, hence why I have a little speed addon to track and remind myself of the speed differences.

Here's my 1:18/1:19 Razorfen Kraul run (Solo, Skip, Glitch, 20s). Slight improvement was made just by Fel Rushing over the tentacle section, but overall a good run

 
I was thinking the final boss will be the final boss of the RDF version of the dungeon. Given that there is no solo "Detention block" it will just be the boss that RDF thinks is the final boss.

I am okay with boss segments being submitted as well. I will just have to make another category for boss segments.
