Malowns slam does proc. Not clickbait

There has been some discussion lately as to whether or not this weapon actually works, so I took time out of my busy day to do some testing.

After 1 minute of auto attacks, I managed to get the proc.

But Jwl, is this weapon BIS over Destiny?
Well, I dont know, is 188 Strength from Malown's Slam better than 176 Strength from Destiny? Not sure, I cant conclude an answer for such a difficult question. All I know, is that Malown's slam offers a 2 second stun that automatically makes it Best-In-Slot.

strange I was testing this item on my 49 warrior and I was not gtting the str proc from it but it was stunning. I can log in and grab some screenshots just in case I missed something though.

But I love your arrogance man, especially if it turns out I am right and it in fact doesn't increase your strength / attack power.

At first I thought maybe the base UI just wasn't showing the change so I turned on deja character stats to see if it showed any change as well but it didn't :/

With DejaCharacterStats you can enable the feature to view stats you don't benefit from by clicking the lock in the top right of your character window. This addon also allows you to see Movement speed, repair cost, durability of gear and a more precise item level.

I didn't hover over the top tip but it does say X str I cant remember the exact amount atm and I am in the middle of something. When I get the chance I will though.

Also if the str doesn't show, try to still compare 1 specific ability that scales with str. You will have a normal range of damage with x spell, when it procs (even if str gain isn't visible) and you see a notable difference in damage on that exact same spell, then it is safe to say that the str buff works. Just an extra thought when it comes to testing. Blizzard can be weird like that.

I have unfortunately already looked into that, no increase in damage on any of my abilities on my fury warrior upon the proc.

Same my abilities were not hitting any harder.

Safe to say that the str proc isn't working then. Just the stun.

If you need stuns pick up the Dark Iron Pulverizer - 8 seconds with a ton of procs, it's one of the most broken items in the game. If you want DPS use Sul Thraze. Am I the only one who thinks Destiny is overrated?

I can get DLS to proc on a dummy and in a duel at 39, but not in instanced pvp. perhaps this has the same problem?

no from past discussions on malowns slam it was figured out that the str portion of the proc just broke when they changed the statline of the proc in bfa

it's unfortunate they haven't fixed it yet, as the stun procs so frequently it nearly makes it viable on its own, even in OH as fury.

Just spam ticket it. That's what I did with armor set bonuses, and voilá.
