No, only if you have to abuse game mechanics to do so. For example northerend engi in BfA, scummy but not an exploit. Trade window glitch shoulder enchant, exploit but not scummy. Trade window glitched frag belt, scummy exploit.

Look, all you did was traded one vague term (exploit) for another (abuse). How do you tell abuse from not abuse? Be specific. I know there is an answer. In fact, I know what the answer is. I remember the patch that changed the gems and there was a few gems from BC heroics that were not changed, clearly a mistake and not intentional to leave them literally un-nerfed. What is your definition of exploit? Are items excluded from your definition?

How do we know whether they were left unchange intentionally or not? "clearly it's a mistake" is an opinion? We are not the debugger so nobody here can come to that conclusion.. Speculation maybe, but speculation works both ways.. This kind of debate will be never ending as it will be a "you say he says".. But the fact remains, it's left unchange.. So using them is legit UNTIL blizz decides to change them.. It's gf'd so it's not an exploit.. It's not an exploit because they were gotten at a time when it can be gotten legally.. no under lvl30 can get into the dungeons to get them now, IF a player who is lvl29 or lower can manage to get those gems NOW, then that is called an exploit.

Personally I think they left it intentionally (the 5/6 gems).. Of cos that is just my opinion, there are reasons why I think they left it that way

IMO the 29s should not be looked at with such disdain. Would be fun to allow xp locked 29s to join in on wargames = more participation and diversity to the meta as well. So many classes/specs are meh at 20 due to lacking a vital part of their toolkit.

Nothing is stopping 29s from forming their own wargames and arenas against each other. I would love to see a growing and healthy twink community across all brackets.

Its a shame that some people who are in a position really lead a regrowth in 29s seem more interested in bitterly griping about other brackets success while trying to excuse exploiting because it bothers the right people.

The 29 bracket died the moment they had to play vs other 29s. The people drawn to 29s arent drawn to competitive games.

20s and 29s are in the same leveling bracket sure, but we all know what we mean when we point out that in terms of twink brackets, 20s and 29s are two different things.

The only way to make a 29 join a wargame, allow them to be 9 levels above everyone else. Yikes.

No, it died when the game fundamentally was flipped on it's head and the 70-79 bracket was reduced to that of an old level 29 twink and no longer could be geared at all through the means the level was originally meant for.

Then level to 30? With 39s active you can play BGs if you want and as you guys say, its not that big a difference its just 9 levels. The PvE options are plentiful, can make gold selling herald runs if you want that or just do your own thing. SL is the revamp, use it to make something new not to be an exploiting asshole.
