    Okay so doing some napkin math at work using the ilvl damage adjustment, I found at 80 the highest ilvl obtainable would be 383.75.

    This equates to 183.75% less damage taken and 305.03% extra damage dealt and healing done. I'd be interested to see what the damage and healing difference would be from going from BiS all plate to max ilvl gear.

    I think that's all I'm gonna say in this thread. Getting a little off topic and off bracket here, lol. Just me thinking out loud I guess

    someone please do better numbers for marks. it bothers me that i can beat marks with fury sub and afflic.

    Ilvl bonus is capped at 99 Ilvls from what I remember. 99% dmg reduction and roughly 165% bonus damage.

    all lock sets seem to pul max dps with 30 haste and 20 crit

    Ok thank you :) it's surprising, would have trough you need high crit for the resource generation and chaos blot damage.

    @Zoke or anyone that plays boomy, how the heck are you doing 4.1k on dummy? Best I can do is 3.6k which is exactly the same as balance affinity in feral strangely enough.
    That if course just makes no sense either...

    @Chey updated. boomkin seems to have been nerfed recently. might have something to do with boomkin being strong at cap.

    So did some testing on bear in sunwell with fishing pole today.
    Just singled out a slayer and noticed some interesting things.
    So using Sin staff with 3x vers gems was getting hit with slayer shot (shadow damage; it's a pretty consistent hit so good for testing) for around 4K per tic @32%vers
    Swapped out for pole and it dropped to 3.5k

    That's a lot for 5ilvl increase and dropping 70 odd versa.

    Tried again with Sin Staff and dropped some versa on other gear to around @15%vers and damage only increased to around 4.2k

    Seems to me I was getting more than a 5% decrease in damage from pole.

    thoughts?

    So this is interesting. I knew Ilvl played a large role in damage mitigation for tanks especially magic damage mitigation for guardian druid. But this is making me think that maybe the armor 2 set is trumped by Ilvl alone. My tests concluded that the 2 set was good for melee heavy fights and skimmed harder for damage mitigation but this is making me think that it’s not worth dropping Ilvl on bear druid for any reason
