US lowbie tol barad

question. with all the people coordinating war games, couldn’t we coordinate tol barad on a low pop rp realm and have wargames in tb? inv only? make it fun 39s-59s or 19-49s
 
Hey, is there something funky going on with the TB timer?
I'm either the unluckiest person around, or every time I log on, it's exactly 1 hour to TB?
I turned my computer off, come back 30 mins later and it's exactly 1 hour away again? WTF?
Or, if it says like 55 mins away, I play another toon, come back 45 mins later and the battle is over and the timer is back to around an hour?
It's doing my head in?
Anyone else experience this? Or am I on the freaking low side of a bell curve in terms of probability and the TB timer? :mad:

The timer on this island is a bit strange ...
During the time I was farming on it, I saw that the timer often reset if there is absolutely nobody on the island ...
Then, when a player joins the island, it just relaunch the timer at its default time of 1 hour.

I don't know exactly the delay before it get reset when there is no one on the island ... but iirc, i used to DC for about 15-25 minutes without any problem. And most of the time, if i relog later, the timer just got reset.

I have no want to make extended testing to know more precisely how the timer works :p Just know that it can be reset if no character is on the island ;)

I’d love to see some Horde in TB. Gimme some heads to stomp on.
Given epic bg’s don’t pop no more.
Would be cool if we could arrange some fair TB battles.
10 v 10’s would even be cool in TB.
I had some cool battles back in the day in TB. I enjoyed it more than WG or Ashran. :)
 
Here's the deal with the timer:

Any time there is no one in the zone for 15 minutes or longer, the timer will likely reset to 1 hour, with random faction control. I consider this an artifact of Legion season 1 when the battles were 10 minutes apart.

I farmed these zones hard for honor until a couple of weeks ago when they nerfed the honor. I had teams of 2 characters parked on 3 realms and both warmodes to maximize the number of battles I could do. I sat with timers and constantly relogged characters to make sure the zones didn't time out.

Even the deadest realms sometimes you see action there, with 120's coming and duking it out over transmog, mounts, and pets.
 
For those farming TB and getting frustrated with the whole timer issue, I found a good way to pass time while waiting for bg's or dungeons to pop between TB battles.
I started fishing in the pools with Shipwreck Debris and fished up https://www.wowhead.com/item=67597/sealed-crate. There are Cata mats in them. I'm starting to collect them with a view to selling some stacks when next sub'd up. At least on my low pop Oceanic server, they sell for quite a bit of coin.

There are pools all around the island. Not all require the raft, but a lot do, and....... you can only get like 1 cast before you aggro something in a lot of the areas :mad:
Some even contain quite a bit of gold in them.
So if you're like me and hate wasting time, then when in TB, get a fishing.......

I seen on my 10 the seagulls still there and scale, my hunter lost his sea gull, (vanished from stables) can u still tame them there?

Two of my friends tamed a seagull, both after the 8.1.5. So i'll say 99.9% sure it's still tameable ;)

Don't do it man you can still go back before it's too late... that full rep bar wont fill up the emptiness you feel inside once it's done...
