I thought Garrosh's original intentions when going back in time was to stop the orcs from being enslaved by the legion, why would he drink the blood? And has he already done so in the present timeline? If so, that should be more reason why he shouldn't, he would just be repeating the same mistake.

That's entirely possible. I've only played Tides of Darkness from the original Warcraft so this is me trying to piece things together lol

I thought WoD was a sort of an alternate prequel to MoP. So he'd be younger and not in command. And would have not drank anything yet. Hence why it says 35 years ago at the start.

Kairozdormu ? The Black prince ? (And for any1 that is wondering, not anduin, because anduin watches the Black prince freeing Garrosh, Anduin tries to stop him, but he pulls anduin back and tells him , you will understand soon. Kairozdormu might be the one who helped in the Portal construction to Draenor, since he collected items from Timeless isle.
 
Reminds me of that one time when I was a kid and got bubbles and accidently spilled the liquid everywhere.
