Looks like they fixed the ability to bug artifact weapons but not the ones already bugged

Classic Blizzard. We could fix this... Nah, we'll just make it completely useless.
But... it *is* fixed. Look at HOA. Also an obsolete borrowed power system. And the artifact effects and power trees? Also obsolete. So relics being obsolete also makes sense.

In an ideal world, they'd have left us with 1 working relic so we'd have artifacts as an ilvl 27 option. Higher dmg, but maybe people prefer cool procs on other weapons. Gives a bit more variety. But hey, turning it into a cool looking BOA is pretty fair imo.

This whole mess is a Tug-O-War. Its difficult to find some fun aspect of things in any shape or form if Blizzard would just swiftly nerf them because "le classic no fun allowed" shit, or the excessive abuse of busted ass systems that have been gradually degraded with constant systems and systems that compile each other, resulting in a sloppy ass mess that makes a private server's systems look more refined than the original developers WHO FUCKING MADE THAT SAID SYSTEMS.
Its impossible to juggle between the player who want to test out new/interesting old weaponry or gear and the player who want to maliciously abuse obscure mechanics that fell under Blizzard's radar. As sad as it may sound that old stuff gets nerfed left and right, like now with Artifact weapons, HOA, and even Ravendare's Rune-Blade. There are people that abuse these stuff for bad purposes.
So its a constant Yin and Yang of sorts, where old stuff gets discovered by someone (Item X), some actually enjoy it in a harmless and more intended way while others abuse it in an unintended way resulting in (Item X) to be either much more weaker or just straight up obsolete. As much as we love to shit on blizzard seeing as how much a trend it has become, we gotta look at the bigger picture that some of us crave high-numbers, at the cost of castrating everyone's desire to enjoy certain aspects of the game.

TL;DR: honestly, I have no summery to what I just wrote.

Have I got a game for you!

Good change honestly, Ilvl 54's were too much for the bracket imo. I will miss having my gf'd 49s but overall this is better for the health of the bracket. Now just need to see if they nerf bramble and things will be very nice.

it was far too broken at this point for any other fix to be viable. Atleast as easily as making it a heirloom.

Both of you are right but I still think they took the lazy way out. They could've fixed the relics and made the weapons reasonable powerful in relation to your level.

I just feel like they made an booboo and instead of fixing it they further gutted content that was such a huge part of that expansion.

Eitherway, I'm kinda glad. Holy paladin looks awful without a shield and you can't mog your artifacts with other artifact skins. So now I can finally use my mage tower mogs. It's all about the mog yo 8)

Ahem also blizzard you got multiple ENDGAME worldquests that are broken beyond fuck, disappearing nodes for multiple patches, mind looking into those as fast as you work on these? (Note i didnt say fix cuz they didnt fix anything really)

Both the title and this thread are too long to read.
It was only asked and answered 7 times on the 1st page, so Im not sure.

Can we still bug artifacts??

Sooo, now instead of farming relics for broken arti, we switch to farm ilvl 28 weapon from Bfa? We just have to switch from one farming to another just to be less powerful than before? Or did the warriors that farmed/bought Destiny were actually 4 paralel universes ahead of us?

Is there any chance that the current state of artifacts might just be a bug in and of itself? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that they would break artifacts, but then leave the tool tip exactly the same as before.

got a question for you - do you know what level you're supposed to be farming that at?

I was wondering this and that's why i kept asking questions.
