Demonology if you're into having great pets and good survivability

Destruction if you're into large bursts, low mobility (Thus low survivability)

Affliction if you're into supporting DPS. You can't solo anything but as an Afflic lock, you're very valuable when helping people kill a target.

Destro locks can do as much dmg as any other class. Just a little less than a hunter.
Their burst is amazing, and if you have the skillz, you can easily beat a rogue.

Obviously, you'll die countless times. The survivability in general is terrible.
But as long as you stay in groups and know how to pick your fights, you'll be fine.

Demo is nice for mobility, but less damage.
And Affliction actually got a buff last patch, and the dmg isn't bad, but it can be outhealed quickly and you won't survive anything 1v1.

I'd recommend Goblin, you'll need the extra distance maker. Get the poison cure from First Aid and create some space. The 1% extra haste for your Fear is very much much worth it also.

Imp is kinda useless now without bloodpact, the other two pets are way better

Imps have auto-use Singe Magic, which works similarly to how succubus' auto-use works. So, u can avoid hojs, fears,stuns,blanket silences without the use of a trinket or racial. Plus imp can put out some nasty dps. If ur free casting for more then 4-5 sec the imp will out dmg the succubus.
