Level 20 F2P twinking, the info thread

That's kinda the point though, I think people should be able to work twoards them from the start. Granted it's cheesy if someone rolls a full BoA 20 on a live account, but I'd like to be able to work twoards them on my trial. That's why I'm not in support of a blanket ban, I just think that even people playing on live accounts should treat their toons as trials, restrictions and all.

I... think... we are in agreement... but... can't tell...

I think people shouldn't wear BoAs until a trial player starts wearing them pretty much.

Is what I'm saying. >_>

Rifle Commander's Eyepatch is overpowered as all hell. Nobody is going to roll Horde for any melee class and be stuck with cloth googles with 4 stamina & 4 spirit going against somebody with that thing. That headpiece is too gamebreaking for this F2P thing to work.

What we really need to do is find an efficient way of farming honor on our trails. Maybe set up multiple trial accounts and farm them endlessly.

Can still get LFH. ;)

It's still not even close. Eyepatch alone damn near gets you hit capped and has almost just as much stamina as the LFH. More armor, and +8 agility on top of everything. Plus it won't take months and months of work to get and still be gimped to all hell compared to any Alliance with this thing on.

Horde has some really awesome quest rewards too though, especially for casters. I rolled an alli rogue for that helm, but only because I'm too lazy to fish for a hat, when all is said and done it's not gamebreaking.

@purecraft

We are in agreement, I'm speaking from the perspective of a trial account because that's what I rolled. Let the trial accounts get BoAs before live accounts start mailing them. Although in my opinion live accounts should never send anything to their 20 and their 20 shouldn't amass gold or use the AH.

As always, everyone will try to get hit capped. Horde takes more hit rating than Alliance because of NE's.. on top of not being able to get this gamebreaking head piece only obtainable by alliance, we need to gimp all our other items to get all this hit rating that the Alli get from 1 head slot.

That item alone will cost Horde like 200 HP, and 20 stats combined from all slots to try to catch up. With no enchants, that is insanely huge. It will be like a twink vs a non-twink.

This whole bracket has no chance to work because of that 1 item.

You sure are making a lot of assumptions without actually looking at the gear available. Take the resto shaman I want to make for instance, it is actually easier to cap hit and I will end up with more crit and HP if I roll horde because of all the great caster gear available. Horde has 4 agi 6 stam 4 hit leather shoulders along with 5 str, 5 stam, 5 hit mail boots. Plus all kinds of great shields. You're probably trolling, but nonetheless are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Who in their right mind is going to roll a rogue, hunter, warrior, feral druid, ret pali, enchance shaman, etc... on horde side? Nobody will want to be gimped to nothing. Like the dude that started the thread said, "everyone I know is rolling Alliance." It's not hard to figure out why. I don't see any of these shields you talk about on horde, I only see Alliance with a bigger selection of better shields. It doesn't matter anyways.

If it was any other item at any other slot it wouldn't matter. There's no choice for head pieces for any class that compares to it. There's only 2 choices. Some googles that have 4 stamina vs the 29 stats that Alliance get, or fish for months and months and pray to get lucky just to be gimped still. That eyepatch is stronger than an epic item compared to a green item of the same level. It's the definition of gamebreaking.

I wanted to ad something to the list i made. I guess i overlooked it:

Medium Armor Kit - Spell - World of Warcraft

Is possible with 100 lw :) You might want to ad it OP before people delete lw for another profession.

Also about:

Classes with an increased enchanting skill are also able to make:

Shield:

Enchant Shield - Minor Stamina - Spell - World of Warcraft

Im not sure it can be done. I remember the class increase on crafting doesnt go for learning recipe's.

AGM & LFH possible to be obtained?

Horde are disadvantged due to the head piece, but that put appart, there's still lots of balance in this bracket

Never understood why blizz never made some kind of counter part to gear for each side wich kinda evens it out in some way pvp wise and if they do there might be a lv req difference on quests like the 19 and 20 bow.
