Hey what is going on with Allied Races, what is Anduin saying there? I've heard we get them all baseline.

I hope we get them baseline haha, ive never played an allied race bc im too lazy to unlock them

On Beta I can play any of the allied races even though I've never unlocked them, so maybe.

Pretty sure the quest line remains but the rep requirement is gone. Allied races won't be baseline but they'll be much easier to obtain (unlikely f2ps get them.)

blizzard, imo can't realistically keep allied races grind gated to a previous expac going into SL and beyond. blizzard also needs to look at BOA heirloom gear is gated to WOD. legion, and BFA.

blizzard announced flying in WOD and Legion would no longer require pathfinding grinds. imo, BFA will have flying more then likely ungated also. blizzard just does not want to announce it now, because it would piss players off still grinding for it and those who just finished it.

my questions to the testers
-is the NPC on Beta that allows you to pick a expac to level in?
-can you switch, like say you picked to level MOP, can you switch to another expac?
-is XP off NPC still in game?

Turned on Warmode on a 20 and copied it to Beta to see if it would stick since I'm level 10 and too low level for Warmode now, it's not there anymore. I'd still turn it on if you want to test it before prepatch.

This legit would make me really upset with SL. Might want to complain or report this as a bug right now while they're really listening. If it goes live i'd suggest everyone bug report this or complain about it loudly in any capacity they can to blizzard.

ilvl 28 boes are now ilvl 18 (and diff from the reg counterpart)

warforged and tf legion gear are different
ilvl 15 (wf) vs ilvl 18 (tf)

single stat bg gear isnt superior except for bracers (1/1 vs 3) others are debateable/close

single stat chest - 3 primary stat, 4 stam, 6 secondary
single stat bracers - 2/2/3
single stat legs - 3/4/6
single stat boots - 2/3/4
single stat ring - 2/2/3
single stat wep - 10/2/3
single stat shield - 2/2/3

precious's ribbon still works

gob bomb dispenser might be super op (350 damage with health pools around 700-900

agm (5 stam, 65 absorb)

belt tinkers still work

sader is still 100 str

a lot of the av special event gear is now scaled to lvl 30 and unusable (weps and offhands) rings and neck look ok

flask gives 4 int

slitherscale/fang set bonus still works

all brewfest trinkets now working!!!

was able to accept a quest in jade forest

portals in sw seem to be working (yay easy port to shatt)

able to purchase items from G'eras in shatt despite being redded out (easy potential ilvl 27 gear) means timewalking gear is hopeful if this stays live

bc rep vendors do not appear to scale unfortunately

you can kill and get drops from the rares in jade forest

gonna be world of socketcraft with most of your stats coming from gems. As a plate wearer you can get about 16/17 prismatic sockets + 1 meta socket to mess with.
